Grant CAN win this fight....he has all the physical tools and a great, great trainer who has surely provided him with a great gameplan for the fight.......it all depends on his mental state and whether or not he himself truly believes that he can win
I just wonder if he has the Stamaina and defense to take Ademeks' blows ..Just concerned as to which Grant we will see .Lets also not forget the Golata fight ..His defense was always lousy and he always gave up his height to smaller fighters .
I asked Bloodworth on Wed. what TA's weight was & he said about 218lbs which I think is perfect for him.
one thing grant does do well is work behind that jab, if he can get that going this can be a very good fight to test Adamek... imagine a grant win here.... WOW!
Grant is a pencil neck. No support for the nerves in the cervical vertabra (neck bones), thats why he can't take a decent shot. I am going be so sky high jacked up for this fight @ the Pru.:!: You got tix????????? This content is protected
Adamek is too clever a boxer for Grant, and he'll play it smart early before outworking Grant during the second half of the fight. Props to Grant for getting his ass into shape, though. Take note, other heavies.
Good post & really true is all aspects. I agree about TA being cautious early until he decides where to attack & once that starts to happen, Grant will be seeing stars.
This might be an exciting fight. How much did Grant improve after Atlas destroyed his career? Adamek is not even a heavyweight, but I think he will probably beat Grand by TKO or KO, but I still consider Grant to be dangerous fighter. If Adamek beats Grant, this will make for great news for a build-up for a fight with Klitschkos. Adamek would knock Haye out, but Haye will never fight him, and Haye is avoiding Chagaev, his WBA mandatory.
I was standing behind Michael Grant in the post office a few years ago and in street clothes he just looks like a regular person who is a few inches taller than normal.
I do not know why Adamek choosed Grant. Preparing for Klitschkos? I do not think so, their style is completely different. Although Adamek is huge favourite here, it is still quite risky fight in the sense he has nothing to gain and much to lose.
