No disrespect to Danny Garcia, he's a good young talent, he's tough, but c'mon. Danny wings 'em from right and left field. Morales will win this with his straight right hand, to the head and to the body. I don't see anything in Danny's repertoire that would suggest otherwise. I was curious to see if the gallbladder surgery has an effect on Morales, but after watching some tape I don't think it matters. I think we're dealing with two fighters not of the same class. Morales is the PH.D from Harvard Medical School, to Garcia's associates degree in communications from ASU... K.O. in number 9!
if morales pushed to drain himself a little more he may even have less of a chance on this fight. Morales sacrificed his belt for a better chance at winning which will lead him into bigger money fight. Smart move really.
Not smart, it's unprofessional and cheap. I love Morales but that's the truth. That kind of act is never smart. It's like saying a certain lowblow was smart because it won a fighter a match. That's not smart, it's cheap and history will always look down on it. Just take a look at how Corales/Castillo II is completely disregarded as a proper fight.
It was very unprofessional... Just like when Void came in 2 pounds heavy against JMM! JMM is a career feather weight... Ahhh Void.. :-(
I hear what ur sayin but dude is already maxed out at 140 and if he is killin his self to make 140 this is not a good sign to kome
Ive been predicting Garcia by decision till now. While i was pretty impressed with Danny's win over Holt, looking back at some of his previous fights, i dont see anything that can overcome the speed, accuracy and very experienced and smart Morales. Danny is a counter puncher, he comes forward and hits hard with both hands but seems to have lapses. He leaves himself open a lot and punches are sometimes too wide dand slow. He's good and can correct most of his mistakes in the future but i believe Morales will be too active, too accurate and too aggressive. Garcia cant win this on the cards. His only chance is to work the body early as much as possible, and turn up the heat mid to late rounds and push for the knockout. Morales will win and very possibly by tko late rounds.
I agree. Although it is unprofessional, Morales needs to step it up in the gym. He is so confident in his technique that he probably doesnt push himself hard enough when it comes to cutting the weight. But he sure as hell loves perfecting his craft.
