Man that Commentary during Taylor v Pavlik 2 was PAINFUL !

Mario Lopez (AC Slater) isn't the best. Dougie Fisher was OK though.

I find it so funny we listen to Mario Lopez.
He said something in the Montiel-Castillo matchup about Castillo being "Saved By The Bell".:rofl :rofl

It was hard to listen to at times, i found myself wanting to turn done the volume to escape their bull****.

I hate it when we don't get Bob Sheridan, he's the 2nd best announcer behind Mike Shiavello lol!!!!!!!!!

 

These guys are all trash compared to the HBO team. A lot of people try to bag Jim Lampley, but fact is that is FAR AND AWAY the best commentator in the sport. Along with guys like Roy Jones and Manny Steward providing technical analysis, it totally blows away Showtime IMO. Not a big fan of Larry Merchant though to be perfectly honest.

 

I could hardly hear the commentary due to the noise at the pub, sounds like a good thing I couldnt.

 

Yeah, the HBO commontary team is by far the best.

 

I agree and even my mates who dont follow boxing love his charisma. Lampley has a great voice for the job.

I watched the Setanta coverage of the fight and i didnt mind the commentators, its not the same ppl this topic is about is it?

 

Whenever theres a Top Rank fighter eg cotto pavlikwe get the Top Rank commentators i.e lopez and the others but when it isnt a Top Rank fighter most of the time we get Sheridan

 

Sheridan does all the Don King cards mainly.:deal

 

Hes def always on the Don King cards but hes on alot of others like He did both Mayweather fights this year... God i hate it when we get Top Rank fighters i know we end up with that Lopez guy atsch
