Man, the cruiserweight division is one, if not the most STACKED-RED-HOT division

Well, let's not act like he beat a total bum. Makabu was at the top 5 on some people's lists. He was a legit contender and got bombed out.

Bellew did capture the title in a hard way. Makabu is no joke.

He still just got lucky until he beats Drozd or Briedis.

I didn't say he beat a total bum but only landed the title shot by luck, which he did.

This is the most stacked I've ever seen it, top to bottom. The best part? The good fights are actually getting made. It's my favorite division right now.

and he still beat the titlist at CW with minimal effort, yet got demolished at LHW by the 3rd rate LHW titlist.

He did not beat the titlist. Read my post in the first page again, he got the title shot because the titlist (Drozd) got injured.

Don't confuse competitive and entertaining with elite.
There's only one fighter from cruiser who looks great, Usyk. The others are just 'good' fighters. Gassiev, Drozd and Lebedev ahead of the rest.

    No, he didn't.

The fight was for a vacant title.

There is some real good talent at CW and now more fights are being made. With more exposure the CW will become even hotter. As for Bellew - he did exactly what he had to do to capture a tile, no need to badmouth him.

Okay so he is #2. Is that a problem somehow? Bellew still faced a top 3 opponent for Lhw title.

I feel like the levels of competitors is rather mediocre but they're all similarly mediocre so it makes for an interesting weightclass for sure. Heavyweight is similar in that regard but I think the average talent among the champs and contenders is better at HW.

a shot he should never have got. He struggled with subeuro cleverly.

I am not sure why you think you have an argument for him with this point.
