Age and Covid, wear and tear, I suspect.

I guess this was a cash-out. I will be interested to see if he announces his retirement.

A damaged body from COVID. Old age.

He should have NEVER taken this fight. Should have retired.

He obviously came to lose last night. I don't think he trained hard for this match.

    Father time

Even the Povetkin from the first fight will lose 8 times out of 10.

Bet his corner were clinging to the towel from round 1. Whyte could clearly see something was up with him...even then he played wary against him.

If he had covid no surprise I guess.

Povetkin always does come to fight and most likely now this had happened because eddie clauses.
In eliminator rematches happens if fight was Draw or No Contest. Eddie is eddie and clauses, clauses, clauses.

A 41 year old guy coming off of covid. We shouldn't be shocked.

They say fighters can get old overnight and I think we saw that yesterday. Though the signs of decline were there earlier.

He really needs to retire. I said that after the Hunter fight.

It is at the tail end of their careers, when their reflexes and legs are shot that a fighter takes the most punishment.

I hate to see that happen to the guy. He had a pretty good career but it's time to walk away.
