What is going on with this guy? I mean, if theres one guy who can straighten up the light heavy division, its Paul Briggs! What the **** happened to him? Is he done? Anyone know anything?! : /
PAul has just recently over come some major health issues to do with his adrenilin that was affecting his whole body including his brain in fact at one stage the doctors thought he may have a brain tumor. Good news is he's fully fit and healthy now however unfortunatly he was very close to signing a contract to fight Woods however that looks to have fallen through at the last minatsch I did hear his manager say he had another big fight in the pipe line later in the year,i guess we'll have to wait and see what happens with Paul although there is a big chance he could fight Danny Green as well so he does have a few options up his sleave but he isn't getting younger so he's going to have to get moving soon.
Prime Briggs wld beat Danny Green Unforunately i don't think he's prime anymore. The 2 Adamek fights were great but may have affected him.
If Briggs fights Danny it will be the last fight he has:deal At least he would get a big pay day but his career would be over once Danny had carved him up:good
Briggs was a vicious, vicous animal at one time, I also think he may have lost a step or three, time will tell. The division misses him greatly, that much is certain.
Briggsy was a great warrior & will be sadly missed soon. He is a awesome commontator, which is wat i would advise him to do post boxing. I would like to see 1 last payday against Danny Green. Its wat he deserves.
