I'm just going on an interview froch gave, can't remember which one. I'm pretty sure you have more inside info than me though!

Good luck at the weekend Frankie.

There arent many without blemishes, Froch has toughed it out with the top guys for however long now and to come through as he has done is a damn good achivement even with a bit of luck, which we all need now and again.

IMO Groves hasnt even touched the surface of what Froch has done. (yet)

He is a european level fighter, going in against a guy who is at his prime coming off the back of a run of 10 fights that no other British fighter comes close to. This fight is happening because Hearn wants to make some money, Groves is not ready nor did he earn it

But that isn't what you said ? You said Groves knows he's beat and he's looking to cut costs, that is complete bollocks. The bit you said above at least has some sense to it, Groves wanted this fight and will make his biggest payday to date, he will have his first go against a world champion and if he loses big deal, he's still young, it's a great experience and there is no shame losing to number 2 in the division at all.

Good post. It's the way I'd call it too. Froch is very good, but I think we may well see on the night that Groves has an extra gear too. I think if Groves moves well he may well force Froch into fighting in one dimensional straight lines.

In the interview with Froch and Groves on Sky Sports Groves said he did rounds with Kessler. That isn't enough to say either way especially since it is just sparring.

Kessler was on the down slide when he beat Froch the first time.

Kessler is a better fighter than Froch if we are talking primes.
