I would say Hopkins, being a partner in GBP, PBF's de facto promoter, would constitute team Mayweather.
i doubt jennings would beat him, mathew has really come on since he changed his style up a bit. admittedly hes not on par with the best in UK/Europe but its a money maker for both of them. i think it will be sanctioned based on the fact he was just fought for a world title, admittedly a **** one
I just looked at one of matthew hattons loses and he got knocked out by a guy named david kerk who had 9 wins-43 loses-3 draws.
Jennings would box his ears off, doubt he'd stop him though. It won't be a money maker at all - he cannot sell tickets..... people would want to see Floyd but no amount of promotion could make it a big fight.... they've given him several chances to impress on TV and he's looked **** each and every time - this fight ain't happening!
Matthew Hatton isn't even a good money maker though. No one likes him after that fiasco in the post fight interview with Lovemore. He's a complete ****.
Judges scored it as a draw and he went sick. Started moaning about how he completely dominated Lovemore and that he was totally robbed in his home country, what chance would he have of beating Lovemore in Australia ( Lovemore offered him a rematch ). He was just being a complete ***** and sore loser, right in front of poor ol' Lovemore. Wouldn't let him get a word in edge ways.
Mayweather is probably more popular in the UK than in his own backyard. not surprised he wants to come over here. Yeah ,Paulie would dance his way to an easy points win. Fans of paulie want to see him face Khan.
Thanks. That's pretty awful though. And I was beginning to feel sorry for the guy regarding this whole Floyd fiasco. :-(
Maybe Floyd should fight one of our best welterweights, if he wants to do the U.K thing!! Brook, Jennings and O' Donnell are all ahead of Matty Hatton in the U.K rankings, so why not fight one of those (Even though it would be a mis-match were he to do so)? Question: If Mayweather signs to fight Matthew Hatton instead of one of the many other world class fighters in and around the welterweight division, just how much respect does he lose? Just how much damage will such a course of action do to his "Legacy"? Does he not realise this? Or is protecting his "0" now more important to him than fighting anyone who could pose even the remotest threat to him? It's not my place to "Retire" anyone, never mind a boxer who has proved himself to be a ring master, but maybe Floyd should just quit now, because fighting guys like Matty Hatton (No dis Matty, but you not in the guys league) when you are supposed to be this great p4p fighter is surely going to prove incredibly detrimental to your reputation!!
