What score will it end up?
October brings us 2 of the best dometic showdowns for years on back to back FFN's. And to be quite honest I can't ****in wait:good
With no real affiliation to either city, and love for all 4 fighters involved,my score prediction is 2-0 Sheffield and here's why.
1st up on the 23rd we have probably the most anticipated domestic clash this century, between Mooresy and Ryan Rhodes. A potential crack at a world title is on the line here. And a big part of me wants Mooresy to win because i think he has a better chance of bringing that title home if that makes sense. But Rhodes wins this imo. Unbeaten at LM and with a style thats all wrong for Jamie. Rhodes will nullify Mooresy's strength and power by frustrating him with his movement, southpaw jab and tying him up when up close, to take a points decision to make it 1-0 sheffield.
7 days later on the 30th a handover fight, when, arguably our best welter over the last 10 yrs takes on the new rising star. I think Brook is a bit special and expect him to look world class in his first real step up in class against Jennings. Brook has a brilliant right jab and will use it to open Jennings up before letting fast combos and big left hands go.Brian Hughes will compassionately pull a demoralized Jennings out around the 5th/6th to make it sheffield 2 manchester 0. And yes I know Micheael Jennings is from Chorley.
Which city do you lads think will come out on top?
PS Inbetween these two unmissable fights, there is the small matter of the Mancs visiting Anfield.Where they face a similar fate and a similar 2-0 scoreline...I may stick a treble on:yep

Moore beats Rhodes and Brook beats Jennings. Both easy wins IMO

Moore will stop Rhodes. Brook-Jennings is a really interesting fight......I'd go for Jennings points but I may change my mind.

 I'd go along with that!

But back to the original question, I'm going to both bills and can't wait - should be 2 really good nights of boxing

If pushed to make a prediction I'd say 1-1. I think Moore will have too much for Rhodes and I'm leaning towards a Brook victory over Jennings.

Name me a bigger one. Haye-Macarrinelli was last big one but was easily predictable.

Skel dont forget this century is only 8 and 3/4 years old

Calzaghe/Froch was more anticipated but Joe bottled it when the bloke from Del Monte told him Froch was the wrong kind of cherry to be picking

Yep real shame Calzaghe bottled that fight.

I think the de-da's will win both.
