People forget this matchup may very well happened being Ray got a shot that year and Sean was champ. Only problem Ogrady was overthrown by a pressure fighter like Ray. Sean might or might have not taken lightly. Could Sean survive the challenge of Ray who was trying to win it for Dad?

Yep... Mancini would take this. He was just too strong. (He gave arguello an even fight through 10 rounds)

That's it right there. The version of Ray that fought Arguello would have beat every other lightweight of that era. Alexis is my favorite fighter of all time, and I still get a rapid pulse watching Mancinni hang with the master. Alexis was not a fast starter usually, so the first few rounds I never got concerned, for rounds 5-10 I actually thought this youngster might knock the king off his throne.

Ray would take Sean O'Grady down by round five.

O'Grady was impressive when he beat Kenty, but Kenty wouldnt pressure him like Mancini would. O'Grady didnt have the skin, nor the chin to deal with Mancini. Ray stops Sean in 6 exciting rounds.
