What's the difference in these venues for boxing? I've never been to Vegas and I know some of the guys in here have. If you were to watch a big fight, which one would you rather go to and why?
Been to both. Both are bad ass. As long as there's a big fight on you'll have a GREAT time. Nothing beats a fight in Vegas. Wouldn't matter if it was on the strip outside you're guaranteed to have an awesome time.
Mandalay bay is a 15 minute walk from the built up part of the strip....mgm is in the thick of things
You can MB from the MGM. There across the road to each other. MGM is on the strip. MB is just slightly off it.
For staying at I prefer Mandalay Bay its on the strip but not kinda distanced away so you have less foot traffic in the Casino floors and have more gambling options as tables are free........Less Gawkers less tourists... For partying, dining, and Boxing MGM is the spot... Huge as ****
Only ever been to MB and was throughly impressed. The view was really good even in the cheap seats i was sat in. Sitting in the nosebleeds i did have Winky beating Hopkins though, so maybe the view wasn't THAT good, or maybe it was just my dodgy mince pies (that's eyes, to you yanks not familiar with rhyming slang). LOL!
I watched ufc 100 at the bay. But have also stayed in MGM and others way off the strip. The best bar for picking up sluts for one nighters is the little bar outside harrahs where the barmaids dance on the actual bar. I was spoilt for choice as far as women wanting to go home with me in that bar
Thomas and Mack... there's a chance for more seats. View is terrible though.. Mandalay Bay is more high dollar and honestly, i've never been to a fight at the mandalay.
