but in all honesty, a well promoted pac-jmm3 will generate much more than 8thousand people. i think the main reason still is that people were not interested about diaz

 

This post show how little Americans know about managing money. I live in an expensive area(bay area) and am a college student yet I can still afford all my bills on whatever I make as no one helps me out. The people who are used to the finer things in life are the ones hurting from the current state of the economy.

In Vegas, you really need two big names to attract the masses

A couple of years back, Mayweather-Baldomir did not sell out because the people did'nt buy the fact that Baldomir was a live opponent.

Anybody with any boxing sense would know that Baldomir had zero chance to win, and when Mayweather was playing it safe, you had celebrities walking out during the fight.

Just like the Pac fanaticals point to Pac making history by winning the lightweight title against David Diaz, so too were the Mayweather fanboys talking up Mayweather making history by fighting for the undisputed Welterweight title.

......yet the people know when its all hogwash......I guarantee you that had Antonio Margarito fought in place of Baldomir that night, the place would have sold out, and the Casino's would have been buzzing!

Lets lay it out simple my friends, the only way that a fight involving Pacquiao is going to make Vegas buzz, is if he's fighting JMM,Hatton, DLH, or Mayweather.

I follow Las Vegas Sands, only because of their Macao exposure, and they are down big. Most people also don 't realize the Chinese market is down 50%, albeit from a speculative top.

The result was never in any doubt and by refusing to pay for this bull**** will hopefully teach them not to put on shitty shows. Only nuthuggers will pay for such shows tbh.
