I should know this, but I'm a little cloudy on this subject. To keep the belt the fighter has to fight the mandatory challenger? And how often is there a mandatory challenger?
Once a year if I'm not mistaken. You have to fight somebody the organization feels is "worthy of a title defense." I believe they have to be ranked in the top 10 of the specific organization. Those in the know, feel free to correct me. I'm just going off of memory.
