I`ll go with Mando here, I think his good legs and superior boxing ability will see him either win on points or eventually stop Mancini on cuts. Mind you Mando was just as much of a bleeder as Ray was so he may well get stopped himself here because of a cut, but if Mando actually came into this bout in good shape which is a mighty big if he should win it going away by staying one step ahead of Ray most of the way and doing a number on him with his underrated jab from long range.
RB, of course we are talking absolute prime where both fighters were in pristine shape, and using that logic, I too go with Mando. The thing with Mando however, was that, although he had the tools to win a good comfortable decision, exploiting Ray's weaknesses, he didn't always use them. The guy just loved getting involved in a punch-up, when his skills could sail him through a fight. That is always a variable and one that Mancini could exploit. However, providing of course that Jackie McCoy could contain him and keep him on course without getting too involved, I would pick Mando on decision with both fighters sliced up pretty good. ...............Agree with you both. Ray is a live underdog here, and I think he is sorely underrated overall, but Mando just had too many tools and skills, not to mention a lot of toughness. His eyebrows could be his undoing here, but more likely he pulls out a tough decision in a ripping fight. This one would be a lot of fun to watch.
