Any reason why the dog Mundine has decided to fight Woods at M/W??

Aside from the obvious i.e, Mandy has to be sure everything is in his favour when taking any fight. Australia's greatest fraud!!

Woods, the winner of Australia's Contender series at Super M/W, has fallen into the usual Mandy trap.... laying down and allowing Mandy to dictate every possible term to the fight. I'd love to see the contract of the Contender series...

It might help garth if he can make the weight ok. Mundine is dog **** at jnr middle.

Not excusing mundine for his 547th bs tactic and con artistry though. He is a fraud like no other.

I still rate this fight as being about on par with a gold coin entry tent fight Bobby - rediculous mis-match and total waste of time for a fighter talking about a world title fight, in a different division, early next year!

The guy who wrote the article below is probably a lot smarter than me and sees it similarly:

CHB... its even funnier that the writer has the nerve to call him Tony Mundine Jnr...

The similarities between the two stop at facial features. Their careers have been totally contrasting. Anthony has no credibility what so ever.

at the time of the contender Mundine was a MW but i think he is more of a SMW but ran from Kessler.since then he has ran from Geale and Golovkin at MW and has become a JMW.I guess going up to 168 and back to 154 is too much for him and Mundines word is as useless as fairydust.

Initially they talked about The Contender winner challenging for Mundine's world title as part of the prize - so they must have been thinking middleweight back then.

But as we know Choc was so reluctant to get back in the ring with Geale he binned the title - so it's no longer on offer.

I wonder if, after the Woods fight, he suddenly finds it too taxing on his body to make 154 again (not that he ever actually really made 154).

Would that scuttle his plans to fight Cotto, Margarito, Pacquiao and Mayweather? :think :hey :yep

I think Mundine will stick to 160lbs from now on, he looked terrible at 154lbs.

They'll be no Cotto, Mayweather, Marg etc at 154lbs, he'll concentrate on a 160lb weak champion.

My gut feeling is Woods will stop him. Woods unorthadox style will be-dallze Mandy, if Many gets relaxed and into a rhythm then Woods may find him self being boxed off the backfoot and Mandy wins a comfortable UD.

The Argie bloke Mandy fought before Waters was a bit of a joke and the over hand slapping rights he threw connected but because they didnt connect with the knuckle part of the glove nor the sufficent power they did nothing to faze Mandy, i belive it will be a diffrent story with Woods as Garth has raw natrual power, if i could think of a boxer similar to woods power it would be Sakio Bika and we all know Manys been ducking Bika for years, whys this? His unorthadox and he can bang.

I think the nay sayers are basing their opnions on Woods lack of experiance, he did defeat more experianced boxers than him to win the Contender and to be honest i did not think he was going to win it, he is a spoiler. He may be learning some more boxing ropes so to speak as apposed to the tackle brawl style but i feel he will resort to this if his boxing style doesnt work, Garth will do anything to win i belive.

    2 points.

1, Woods in any other contest would or should have been disqaulified for some of his shifty antics in the Contender.

2, 6 round fights.....will gas out without a doubt and resort to his shifty antics.

Woods cuts too easy, all Mundine needs to do is land a few snapping jabs on Garth and he will open him up ending the fight early. hope im wrong

Lets be honest here. Woods is a bum and Mundine will win a shutout.
