Mundine's best world titles that he's won are about the equivalent of a top 6 finish in the NRL, AFL, etc. His more recent world titles are about the equivalent of Nadal or Federer winning the Tassie Open against the likes of Marcus.
At 154 Mundine is no good thing to beat any half decent fighter from the northern hemisphere. On December 4th Rigoberto Alvarez defends his interim WBA title against Austin Trout. This fight will be on the undercard of the Saul Alvarez V Lovemore N'dou bout. Imo Mandy won't travel overseas again for a genuine title shot. He hasn't got the balls.
Just wait and watch for all the wonderful excuses that we''ll see delivered by Mandy's mouth piece in the next few months....
Mundine will be laying in a puddle of his own blood, ****, and **** by round 3 if he ever decides to take on a legitimate champ.
Most of us can't forget the Geale and Golovkin fiascos. Handing back a title to avoid Geale and ignoring the chance of a genuine title shot in his own back yard at middleweight while scurrying down to 154 to fight local club fighters. Just a pity we'll never see him climb through the ropes to fight Saul Alvarez . That would shut him up for all time.
