Its hard to see this fight not going the distance, and its hard to see JCC doing anything more than out working Peter in spots. I think Peter will outbox him for maybe 8 rounds or so, only to get hosed by the judges. Anyone else predicting a Texas style robbery? Also, I must admit that JCC Jr. has grown on me a bit. Yeah hes got a few gifts, grew up a rich kid, and is milking his fathers name, but he seems like a likeable kid and he seems to really like to fight.
I see late stoppage for JCC Jr, keeping Manfredo at range eating jabs/1-2's all night. Referee stoppage by accumulation, RD 10 :bbb Infact I think i'll make my first Vcash bet to that effect.
Chavez is going to find out what it's like to be a real fight. Manfredo is used to fighting bigger guys who hit harder than jr. When Chavez gets hurt it's going to take the wind out of his sails and he'll go into a shell where he'll be eating left hooks. The JCC facade ends tonight.
I like Peter manfredo, Calzaghe stoppage was premature, I know, because I was right there. He is an honest professional, and a decent fighter.
