how good will lacy be after the lay off and surgery, will the left hook still be a factor with the surgery?

If Lacy can't beat Manfredo he should consider retiring. If he's even as good as he was in the Tsypko match, he should be able to stop Manfredo easily.

manfredo is the new zuri lawrence... might cause a few tough matches but will always be a target for recovering champs after injuries or losses

lacy fighting his daddy's left overs, this is nice to see. i wonder how much time joe gave jeff off from chauffeuring him about to train for this fight.

Manfredo is a glorified club fighter at best. At worst, Lacy is a world class contender. This will be hardly more than a heavy bag workout for Lacy.

I don't know if I'd go that far. That's what he is at best until he can prove himself against a better fighter or two. At worst, he's psychologically scarred and tentative and a C+ level fighter. I agree that Manfredo is a glorified club fighter and that he should be able to easily beat Manfredo either way. If Lacy is back to his old self, I could see him doing it faster than Calzaghe did.
