    At this point in his career he hasn't shown much loyalty to the Socceroo's, but when a Club like celtic signs you up, it would be rather ballsy to go against their wishes, but thats the main reason why he hasn't been selected for Australia.

    He will be there for the big ones though which is comforting. Hopefully by 2010 Matthew Spiranovic might be ready for the WC too. He's only 18 atm, but is getting time in the Bundesliga and looks the goods.

    Interesting times ahead.

    helicopter Sunday? I haven't heard of it. I tried youtubing it but it said the video had been taken down. Is it a bicycle kick or something?

    No Helicopter Sunday was that day Scottie put two goals in the back of the net while at Motherwell against Celtic and the Helicopter was literally at the Motherwell stadium until McDonald kicked the second the Helicopter turns around and heads to where Rangers where playing which if i recall was Hibs to hand the cup to Rangers.

    The Scots call that and Scottie Helicopter Sunday.
