Boxing needs Champions who are not afraid to fight one another.

Champions who are not fighting left-overs and has-beens.

They both feast on left-overs and has-beens. I give Floyd a little credit for fighting Ortiz in his prime, but after that... nobody in their prime.

When was the last time Manny fought somebody in their prime?

Bring on new blood like Gamboa, Canelo, or fighters who aren't afraid to face equal opposition.

Clottey and Cotto were both in their primes. Cotto is younger than Pac ffs and turned pro like 6 years later than Pac.

They'd also whoop Ortiz. But people don't seem to pay any attention to that. It's all about being a young, hungry lion.

... And you need to shut the **** up, tool..:goodMayweather is comin off a 16 month layoff and fought a powerpunching southpaw. I dunno if anyone else can see what he's doing, cuz its exactly what I'd do if i was a fighter trying to get ready to fight not only the most dangerous opponent in boxing but the bigest fight of an era. I'd be preparing by shaking out my legs from the 16 months off n doing it against an offensive strong southpaw. If ur gonna tell them to retire when there getting ready to let em fly you shouldnt even be allowed to post in ANY forum ya ****. You should retire ur account

:? You gotta be kinding, right?! Cotto was in his prime.?! He was destroyed by Margo, then beat up by Clottey!!! Do you not remember? Cotto was his best for the Mosley fight. After that... Clottey... Clottey might as well have stayed home that day. You CAN'T be serious, dude!

    DeMarcus Corley
    Phillip N'dou
    Victoriano Sosa
    Jose Luis Castillo
    Jose Luis Castillo
    Jesus Chavez
    Carlos Hernandez

    Manny's resume

    Shane Mosley
    Antonio Margarito
    Joshua Clottey

    Ricky Hatton
    Oscar De La Hoya
    David Diaz
