Have Roach and Manny gone crazy? I don't know whether to respect their bravery or assume that Roach has gone completely nuts in his ambitions.

    Motherf--en Margarito!
    against little Pac?

This seems like that Nightmare on Elm Street scene where the teens in the schoolbus realize the driver they trusted has gone nuts and is taking them off road and then they see the driver is Krueger.

Oh well, I'm done caring about Manny getting hurt or not. The little guy can take care of himself. I think it'll be a pretty cool fight while it lasts.

If Pac can beat Hoya, he is capable of beating Margarito. It will be amusing if he gets knocked out.

I think because he did beat De La Hoya, both Roach and Mannys heads have gotten a little bigger.

Are you the same guy worrying for Manny against Hoya? End of the day, both Pac & Roach knows their chances better than you, me or anyone else on this site against their chosen opponents. I'm not gonna call them crazy or stupid for picking a guy...

Before Hoya chose Pac, plenty of people were begging for Margo-Hoya instead, Pac has just embarrassed Hoya....I see no reason why this is a mismatch. They will both have to weigh in under 147lb and Pac's speed will still be there, he is still a lot slicker than Margo and very fast on his feet. Simply put, Pac has as much chance as PBF in beating Margo, both can outbox him and I dont think PBF can take that much bigger punishment than Pac. Pac will have to fight the perfect fight, and not get caught with a hayemaker on the chin which he is very capable of. He has to us ehis footwork to run pretty much all night. Some will use the Cotto fight as a reference but Cotto stood toe-2-toe with Margo, sat on the ropes, did not run and isnt anywhere near as fast as Pac in terms of hand and more importantly footspeed.

Yeah I did fret about Pac against Hoya but this is not an old Hoya on a loosing streak who looks like an old lady crossing a busy street this is Marg at prime. I think it' be a cool fight though I give Pac a tiny chance in pulling it off. But **** it, what's he gonna do, wait for Mayweather to come out of hiding?

It wouldn't surprise me to see Pacquiao win this one. If you can stay mobile and walk Margarito into your shots and then move, it is a winning formula. If you just lay on the ropes because your legs are tired ala Cotto, then you will face trouble.

if you notice roach sezs pac will outbox, not ko. at 160 and fighting tall, no way pac can tap that granite chin with any authority without eventually getting caught with an uppercut.

so pac will prolly use his speed to accumulate points via body shots while turning and turning marg around try to win by decision.

or who knows maybe were going to see more of his overhand left while in a ducked position to avoid margs uppercuts.

or he could squat low after each shot so marg can't reach down to hit him

i think the old pac is coming back.. cocky and confident.. i remembered when he was still young.. he was a very cocky little boy who was fighting men.. and knocking them out.. i think margo is too much for him just too much... manny is weak in the body and margo has a good body punch... its interesting though.. if would be able to out box him then he is 2nd to srr for me

Marg would laugh at Manny punches as he did even Cotto's and Williams who hit harder.

Yes, but you still picked Hoya and I could be wrong but "probably" thought it would be a very easy fight for DLH too right? What im trying to get at is, hindsight shows you that Pac did stand a very good chance in that fight, whatever the reasons are. That is something only you will know after the fight, same can be said for Pac-Margo...after Pac possibly makes Margo look silly with speed, you could be saying to yourself that Margo was just too slow and it was obvious Pac was gonna win (after the fight of course).

You wont know until it happens, if they think they have a chance, they have a chance.

At least he wants to fight the very best of the best. Win or lose thats a plus respect to Pac if this happens.

Margarito would win this one brutally at the moment.

I think the way Roach is looking at this fight is that Margarito is slow he does telegraph his shots, Manny has the speed advantage and quick footwork, also factor in that all of Margaritos losses came at the hands of southpaws.

margo weighs about 162-165 during fights. pac will weight 150 at most to preserve his speed. that's a 12-15 pound difference in weight. pac can negate the height and reach advantage w/ his speed. but margo has too much of a size and therefore, strength advantage vs. pac.

pac can't avoid margo the whole 12 rounds while throwing punches himself. margo will cut off the ring w/ his size and eventually will catch pac with a flush punch. i just don't think pac can withstand a punch coming from a 165-lb fighter. there has to be a limit somewhere.
