WAY more modern fighters jump weight classes now. That was a stupid point to try to make.

I have been in a boxing gym. Clearly you've never been in any kind of gym.

Gaining 10-15 pounds impossible? Are you ****ing joking? I went from 138 to about 150 in a month & a half. Most of it was pure muscle. Everybody's bodies are different.

No it isn't rocket science. It's pretty simple actually - You eat more calories then your body requires daily, you gain weight. Whether that turns into fat or muscle depends on the kind of workout you do and your nutrition.

Manny is a top-level athlete with one of the best trainers and nutritionists in the country. Are you seriously telling me it's impossible for him to put on 10-15 pounds of muscle?

And this bs about him being "just as fast and strong at welterweight" is BULL****. He ISN'T as fast as he was at feather, FACT. He ISN'T the puncher he was at feather, FACT. He's beaten guys due to accumulation. Look at the De La Hoya, Cotto and Clottey fights. Accumulation. He's knocked guys down (and out) from punches that they didn't see coming. The punches that you don't see are the ones that knock you out. Do steroids give you the ability to do that? Do steroids give you better footwork and ring generalship? Do steroids make you a better fighter? No.

Manny victories as of late are due to his improvements in the ring. If you can't see that, you don't know **** about boxing (as roger would say).

Yea his reputation as a cheater keeps growing and growing. I've heard chicks talk about Pac at work and them say, "well, isn't he on steroids?" LOLOL Great legacy to be leaving -- even nobody's who don't watch boxing know Pac because he walked away from 40 mil for a teaspoon of blood. Awesome!:good

He's just that good. *****'s always look for excuses remember that. Pac's got nothing to prove, he's fighting under official rules and regulations. Petition the Professional Boxing World to implement your request and Pac will follow. In the meantime, go back to the amateurs if you want that style of testing. Put on a head gear and some sando's while your at it.

I dont discuss Armstrong because I know very little about that era or the caliber of opposition that Armstrong faced.

I'm looking at his record on boxrec and I'm seeing that he defended his Welterweight title several times against fighters who only weighed the lightweight limit.

In many instances, Armstrong weighing in the 135 range to defend his welterweight title (limit 147 lbs) is actually outweighing his challenger.

Thats why I called for you all to name me a modern day fighter who had fought in that many divisions in such a short span.

Armstrongs era is foreign to me.......Armstrong does defend his title against some true welters, but the era has alot of challengers for the welter title fighting at or just one or two pounds above the lightweight limit.

I cant really comment on an era from the 30's and 40's, but I do know that no one has done it since Armstrong.

I dont even know if Armstrong was a skill fighter, brawler, or boxer puncher.......

I'd be more inclined to say that a skilled fighter has a better chance to dominate several divisions in todays age, in fact any age.......and though Pacquiao has some skills, quite frankly I dont consider him elite as far as boxing skill is concerned.
......which makes his feats even more suspicious to me.
In my view Pac has dominated these divisions through sheer punching power and volume workrate.

How did Armstrong beat naturally bigger fighters that were in say Miguel Cotto's class????
I dont know the answer to that.

Did Armstrong use boxing skill and savy to outbox them???

....or did he take the stronger bull by the horns and worked him like Pacquiao did to Cotto???

I dont know and I dont think you do, which is why I prefer to debate and just take the modern era into account.

Please. I am an ex-Marine and I still box.

How old are you? Probably early 20's. If you aren't a 30 year old man then you don't know what you are talking about. Sure everybody's body is different but a 30 year old Asian man doing high intensity cardio will probably find it hard to pack on 10-15 pounds lean muscle mass. Especially not doing heavy lifting. 30 year old Asian men do it all the time right? No. They don't.

Yes it is rocket science. That is why they have college degrees for it and people are paid megabucks to do it .

We know he is an elite boxer. I am not arguing that. I am arguing that it is more likely, but not positive, he is doing it with some type of aid. Add to that the fact that the man is ducking blood testing AND only fighting stable mates? Yes, it seems more and more likely he is using.

I am not going to go down the list and crap on his latest opponents. That has been gone over. If you don't know how endurance affects a fight you need to consult with your boxing coach. Steroids do make you a better athlete. Why do you think people use them? :patsch

Manny's victories are due to great matchmaking and gullible fans like you lapping up Uncle Bob's BS. Uncle Roger needs to pour gasoline on your keyboard.

Steroids were isolated in the 1930's. So who knows how long they have been in sports.

Please. Boxing is far more refined now than it was then. Other than the cream of the crop if you think any of those guys could do that now you are sadly mistaken.

So then why are the Mayweathers claiming Pac is using a drug that tribal Filipinos were supposedly using over 100 years ago.... The sad fact is if you can't beat them or compete with them you must insult them and belittle them..... Every man does not live by these rules, but the lesser does..

Hahaha, they don't have to know anything. They are BOXING professionals not DOPING professionals. All they have to do is ask for testing. All Manny had to do was agree or disagree. He was all over the place... like a GUILTY person! :deal

Nobody insulted Manny. Again you guys have your time lines mixed up. The only person talking and he specifically said, "My opinion is..." was Mayweather's father who is NOT part of his camp. Mayweather said NOTHING. He just asked for the test. Mayweather didn't SPEAK until after the fight negotiations ended.

You are right. The lesser guy and his friends keep running their mouths and making up lies.

Good as long as you know they don't know much..... What is you're point of coming on here and bringing up all this nonsense?
