pac being homeless and alone in the streets from 14-16 was also an achievement in itself.

I agree. he fought a guy he totally sucked against stylistically four times and wants a fifth. Manny never ducked anyone. Arum and Floyd are the culprits - maybe mostly Arum, but still, Floyd doesn't like Pac's style, that's for sure, or he would take the fight and humiliate people just to shut them up forever and the bugbear is off his shoulders once and for all, Pac is put to rest.

The original post is in response to some comments similar to the people on here dissing it. Breadman knows boxing, but just as importantly he's a very level headed and objective person (at least on his boxing column). Anybody here ignoring the facts about Pac's accomplishments and his record of always being willing to fight the best, is just showing the world how small, sad and envious they actually are.

Floyd Mayweather is an outstanding fighter, and rather than sitting here playing the blame game, I'm just disappointed the fight never happened.

superb post mate .....the mindless idiots on here that knock pacman is crazy.

his career is miles ahead of floyds in terms of challenging himself to the limits....and before you morons start yes I think Floyd may well beat him but he will never come close to captivating people like manny has. a real true throw back in my eyes.

would love the floys fight to happen even now...he is the only guy that could test him

Oh ffs please stop with the hearts and flowers bull****. Do you think that boxing has / is always been populated by fighters whose families were privileged, with CEO fathers, mothers who lunch, private education and such?

Can you even begin to imagine the abject poverty and degradation that black fighters from before the second world war had to put up with?

i won't argue about aamerican having it rough way, way back but you don't seem to have any idea on what being homeless and alone at that age in a philippines or other countries mean.

...one thing is certain, 100% of the poor fighters from other countries would rather be poor in the us and 100% of the u s fighters would rather be poor in the u s than in those other countries.

    Poor is poor.

You can't compare America's projects or trailers or any kind of public housing or welfare recipients to homelessness in other countries. That isn't fair.

Anyone will do anything to find food anywhere.

Compare the homeless here with the homeless there. It's all the same. They have no home, and they both live and survive in the streets.

  15. No way. Poor people in India have it way worse. You ever watch that show VICE? I suggest you look it up. Great show.

Anyway when I served in Afghanistan I saw a whole other level of poor. Trust me, id rather be poor in a 1st world country rather than a 3rd world country anyday.
