Manny does not need Mayweather

How cute. You probably actually believe all of this. I'm sorry, but Pac will be fighting Mayweather next. Neither guy really has a choice.

Exactly the fight must happen. Especially now that HBO is really pushing for it.

 

This fight will happen, no doubt in my mind. There will be "it's on, it's off" moments but it will happen.

 

I think this is a better fight for Manny in the long run.

10 years from now people will remember him coming up from Bantam and unifying the WW division.

Floyd will be commentating by then, and explaining how he botched the deal with fighting Manny, who will by then be recognized as an ATG, by demanding too much of the purse and having his priorities all out of whack.

 

He shouldn't. Weather Floyd wants to believe it or not, Manny is more of a draw at the moment than he is.

The difference between the two is that Manny is defying the odds and doing amazing things, while Floyd never goes against the odds and brags about winning.

In short, Manny is a good guy out doing amazing things and Floyd is a massive douchebag.

I suspect the Mosley/Berto winner would be more inclined to fight Mayweather than Pacquiao. Especially if it's Mosley, since GBP is Mayweather's co-promoter.

 

Mayweather vs. Pacquiao is as guaranteed to happen as any fight possibly could be. There are few times in the history of the sport where there has been a greater or equal level of certainty about a fight happening.

 

You're either pushing an anti-Mayweather agenda or simply don't know what you're talking about. Or both. 10 Years from now people will be more impressed with Pacquiao beating Mosley or Berto than Mayweather? Please.

 

Floyd needs to fight one more tune up IMO just to make sure the rust is gone .

 

at this point it dosent matter what manny or floyd wants or needs. its what the people and fans are demanding, its what boxing needs!

 

They are both greats. Neither of them needs to fight each other to cement their legacy in the BHOF, but.... BOXING needs this fight! Combat sports needs this fight!!!! The WORLD needs this fight!!! All of the planets are aligned. This fight MUST happen!!!!!
