Clotty say Manny is very brave to fight him with no catchweight. Clottey is known to weight 170 pounds on night of fight. So he is much larger than Manny. That make me worry for Manny but Manny beleves he will win so Pambansang Kamao:bbb

He's probably fighting Clottey, a B-level fighter that likes to come in heavy in preperation of the Mayweather fight. They know Mayweather wants to come in heavy too (but not as heavy as 170). Manny is learning to crawl first.

Pacquiao has next to no chance of stopping Clottey. Pac might win a clear decision but it probably won't be easy.

I did a thread the other day regarding this, I know it is most likely a UD for pac but he does have a chance of stopping Clottey for sure, Fighters with iron chins CAN be stopped, not only me on this forum who thinks this either, dig the thread up, its somthing like Clottey may taste his first KO loss

He didm't stop a weightdrained Cotto until the 12th round... And he's gonna stop a 170lb. thick-skulled, ashy-ass tank like Clottey.

    :patsch

If anyone is getting stopped it's Bob Arum's pacemaker when Manny gets beat the **** up...:bbb

Name me the last iron chinned fighter with a good defense that got stopped? It doesn't happen very often. Supposed iron chin fighters like Margo get stopped from time to time because they don't know how to defend themselves. You bang away at granite long enough and it will crack. Clottey actually knows something about defense. You won't get many clean cracks at him, and even when you do he can take a punch. Unless Clottey gets injured or suffers a bad cut, he's not getting stopped.

Not gonna happen buddy...If he can take bricks to the face for 12 rounds then he can stand up to Pacman punches...A clear UD yes..but a KO, I really dont see that happening!

What? your acting like its an impossibility

I said the most likely outcome will be Pacquiao UD12 Clottey, but by no means is it impossible for him to stop Clottey, Clottey got dropped by a Cotto jab, who's saying Pacquiao couldnt overwhelm Clottey with the accumilation of punches that have blitzed every fighter he has faced above 130 previously?

Again i think the most likely outcome will be a Pacquiao UD win but i wont be overly surprised if Pacquiao stops Clottey on his feet

Yes, he`s fighting a bigger man, but its not a better man or even a man near as good as him, its a much slower man that we know wont get out of the way of those same punches delivered to MPs last 4 opponents.

MP had the chance to fight a fighter that can match his speed & talent, that will not be there to take 4,5,6 punches in a row without escaping... but he walked away from that fight.

MP vs Clottey doesnt interest me... far too much of an anti-climax to what SHOULD have been.

I might watch the replay for free but thats it.

I read somewhere that it literally translates to "national fists" or "nation's fists".

Accumulation. Had Cotto stayed there and traded which is what Clottey says he will do, he would have been out by the 7th. As it was, he chose to ran last part of the fight to try survive and it shocked Pac more than anything.

If Clottey chooses to survive, he will im sure, if he tries to outslug Manny, I've said this before even whilst Pac was a FW, he wont be outslugged. He hits too fast and too hard so he always has the advantage in a slugging match...the accumulation in punches landed will cause a TKO.
