Manny Pacquiao 5′ 6½″ 67″ reach

Miguel Angel Cotto 5′ 7″ 67″ reach. Cotto is just a half inch taller. he fight was at a catchweight of 145 Lbs.

Ricky Hatton 5′ 7½″ 65″ reach. Pacquiao has a two inch reach advantage. They fought at 140 not 147.

Oscar De La Hoya 5′ 10½″ 73″ reach. Is this what you mean by again? Than again De La Hoya was weight drained and should not have been fighting anyone at less than 154 Lbs.

I'm still wondering when did Pacquiao fight "The bigger man" before?

It's brave but smart.

I've explained before that in a lot of ways, Pacquiao being the smaller man is to his advantage.

His team knows that he can handle the power at these weights. What his opponents CAN'T handle, however, is someone as fast as Pac with such an unorthodox style. And when they realize Pac can still punch at these weights, they go into a 'sparring partner' shell, where they basically keep waiting to see what Pac is going to do.

He basically makes them fight at an uncomfortable rhythm, one that is faster and more awkward than they can handle.

So we cant praise Pac for fighting bigger men but we can use it to accuse him of taking PED's, he must be taking PED's right to be beating up these bigger guys?

Exactly, always thought the same too. I dont remember who it was, maybe Dinamita or Scar said exactly the same thing when Pac was LW. When Pac fights the likes of Hatton & Cotto (before the fights took place), their gonna be shocked by the speed because their not used to that. A fast FW is different from a fast WW..

:good

It's also why Morales and Marquez were so successful against him. Both of those guys can handle FW speed and had good enough chins to take Pac's power.

In a way, fighting at these higher weights is a truly calculated move.

Do you acatuly read other peoples commits before commiting on them? When do I mention PEDs? When do I say Pacquiao is using PEDs?
A weight drained De La hoya is the only bigger man Pacquiao has ever fought. Also don't give me that "he was a flyweight B.S. He was a tall flyweight and a lot of boxers start at lower weights than they finish at. Also a lot of boxers Pacquiao fight at eights that are unnaturaly low for them. In the now famous intreview where Pacquiao talks about his drug testing before the first Morales fight he says that he was not eating or drinking because he was strulging to make the 130 Lbs limit. In otherwords in 2005 he was at the lightest a natural lightweight if not bigger. 4-5 years latter it i very unlikely that his natural weight has gone down. If it had moved it would have gone up. There was also talks of him facing Yuri Foreman even before the talks with Mayweather started. When Foreman was turned down and latter replaced with Clottey it was not because Foreman fights at 154 it was because he is too tall.
Many Pacquiao is about the same size give or take an inch in highth and or reach as anyone (yes there are exceptions like Paul Wiliams who seems to be fighting at 154 & 160 these days) who is fighting at 147. He is no longer the little guy but a normaly sized welterweight.
He didm't stop a weightdrained Cotto until the 12th round...
Ohh **** here we go again... cotto weightdrained because he had to weight 145 instead of 146 like in his previous fight :patsch
And another thing, many of you call Clottey a B- level fighter but isn't he the guy who fought a fight whose decision could have gone either way against Miguel cotto ? I bet you rank Cotto higher than B- right ?
