    You do realize the time I am talking about is during his days as a light welterweight. You know. When he was trying to secure fights with other top LIGHT WELTERWEIGHTS. Get your time tables straight homie.

    Uh....Floyd signed to fight Judah before Judah fought Baldomir....Floyd along with everyone else thought Judah would win easy. But Judah lost. Floyd still honored the Fight contract. Then when Flyd did an interview with ESPN's Brian Kenney and Kenney asked: "Baldomir is the Lineal Champ, Why are you fighting Judah? Hatton is the KING at 140lbs, why not fight Hatton?" And immediately after that interview, every Sports-Bar and Boxing Forum lit-up with the same ****...."Mayweather scared of Hatton, He's rather fight Judah instead of Baldomir". Then when Floyd beats them both...EXCUSES, EXCUSES!!!!

    When Floyd moved up from 135lbs to 140lbs....he fought 2 title eliminators. Remember those? These are fights that sets a fighter up for a shot for a title in a new divison. I guess people forgot about that when a certain fighter began moving up in weight and simply bypassing the eliminators and FIGHTING THE WEAKEST BELT-HOLDERS IN THAT WEIGHT CLASS OR FIGHTING FIGHTERS WHO DON'T EVEN HAVE A LICENSE OR A BELT AND FIGHTING THEM FOR A VACANT TITLE.

    Floyd fought 2 title eliminators at 140lbs (Corley and Brusseles) that made him the mandatory challenger for Gatti's title.

    Floyd had just fought Oscar at for a 154lbs Title. While Hatton was the 140lbs King. So eveyone expects, that if these two met in the ring after the Oscar fight for Floyd to Drop 14lbs pounds to meet Hatton at 140lbs...when both fighters agreed to meet at 147lbs...the logical and smart thing to do. But Logical and Smart rarely factor into post and threads in ESBGF.

    Knowing the Facts, and not liking a fighter is a choice...But not taking the time to learn the facts and not liking a fighter based on false accusations and pure assumptions...THAT'S JUST BEING A HATER!!!!

    Like suddenly Mosley becoming a past-his-prime after Floyd!

    I just hope Floyd fights Manny's left-overs too i.e, Cotto or Margarito!!!

    I will be waiting he faces them in 2011! Oh some left-overs you have there!! :thumbsup

    This thread is completely BS. We know Floyd will run circles around Cotto and probably finish him somewhere in the 11th. As for Margarito, I see Floyd in a wide UD if not a stoppage due to cuts. This will be the most probable outcome if Floyd meets either of them in the squared ring. Fact.

    But I don't see Floyd realistically facing these two as they haven't proven there mettle yet that they are worthy opponents.
