Fighting the best Lightweight in the world in your first fight at Lightweight says it all instead of beating a past prime Super-Featherweight.

It does indeed. Still not enough to surpass Pacs resume.

    Unless you're biased:good

Indeed they can. Wish they wouldn't though, it's very boring.

Don't even need to with Floyds. Its plainly average (for a supposedly 'great' fighter)

If we get back to the point, Mayweather will want the fight, but only when he's completely comfortable with the situation and terms. Same for Manny.

Floyd and co haven't said much, which suggests they have reasons for backing out or delaying and Top Rank/Pac aren't prepared to accept them. These things happen. No ducking now.

The first time I definitely blames Floyd for putting up an unreasonable road block, but this time it's just business.

i thought it was black and white

first time: everything was all but agreed until floyd pulled the drug testing

second time: manny agreed to tests then floyd changes his mind about about the purse
    splits.

correct me if im wrong tho but that was what i thought it was

Don't think anyone's confirmed that. The only yapping during negotiations has come from Arum.

For me, Cotto was better at the time of his Pac fight than Mosley was at the time of his Floyd fight.(Even if he had beaten Margarito in his last fight, that was a long time before and at 39 he was nothing like the force he had previously been). Mainly, because I was quite impressed with his Clottey win after the horendous cut he suffered.

Plus, I can't be sure whose hatton win was better. Against Mayweather he had been flying and was unbeaten but at a weight where he struggled. He was at 140 vs Pacquiao but had already shown his vulnerabilities in the Mayweather defeat.

What puts Pacquiao slightly ahed for me in the legacy stakes are his wins over Marquez, Barrera and Morales. A series of great fights vs true warriors

I think the fight will happen, the two camps dont like each other and want to come out on top. With the money this fight will make theres no way it wont happen imo. I think half the bull **** with fight is just egos trying to prove a point.

Floyd's win over Hatton was better.

Ricky was already starting to show a bit of wear and tear in previous fights but was coming off a good win against Castillo, was unbeaten and in great shape.

For the Pacquiao fight he was badly prepared, weight drained and mentally shot to **** because of his previous loss to Mayweather.

Still an impressive win for Pacquiao - nobody in their right mind would have predicted what actually happened..... even Roach was taking the **** in his ''prediction''.

I think Pacquiao needs to fight somone like Bradley now. His last fight against Clottey was annoying but everyone thought he'd fight Mayweather after that. If he fights Margarito or Cotto again it would kind of **** me off. Margarito and Cotto should fight and the winner fight Pacquiao, meanwhile, Pacquiao fights Bradley. I'd actually rather see Pacquiao fight Mosley than Cotto or Margarito.

Unlike Floyd who fought Hatton @147, Pac should fight Bradley@140. Won't happen.

BB; I agree with what you're saying, but beating Hatton at Welter is hardly a great scalp; the fact that people rank it amongst Floyds best wins says a huge amount for how sparse his resume is.
