I don't think this was ever up for debate. Floyd has never taken on anyone that is close to his level except Oscar. PAC has a greater legacy but Floyd by all means is one of the most skilled boxers ever with talent to boot....but no one can do anything for his inner determination to challenge and find the hardest challenges to test himself. Joe C had a smiliar problem only more pronounced. PAC ALWAYS tries to find the hardest challenges without a doubt.

How can this thread even have got to 6 pages?! Whether you think Mayweather is the more skilled fighter or not is irrelevant. There is NO CASE to be made for Floyd having a better resume.

That's the old Pac...now Pacman can be as effective countering and giving angles as anyone in the game.. Pacquiao doesn't look for the KO anymore, he just has the power to make it happen if the opportunity presents itself !

Only decent fighters floyd has fought:
    Gatti
    Chavez
Castillo <<<Floyd lost the first one, I don't care what no one says.
    Judah

Not going to put De La hoya up there, but even though DLH isn't (decent) Floyd in my opinion lost that fight either ways.

Pac definitely has the better resume.

To be realistic...you have to think, that once Pac beat Barrera THE FIRST TIME, he basically was in the HOF with his career. Since then, he has beaten three of the greatest Mexican fighters of all time, a bunch of other champs, and beaten top competition as high as 147. Just totally astounding.

PBF is a better overall fighter than Pacquiao but I think Pacman simply showed how good of a counterpuncher he's become with this fight !

Hatton fought the same way against Pac and Money, therefore it does mean something that Pacman beat Hatton in an easier fashion !

Mayweather's ego must be boiling right now about that.....

How do you figure PBF is a better fighter....

DLH vs Mayweather- Split decision (controvercial)
    DLH vs Manny- TKO
Hatton vs Mayweather- Tko 10 rounds
Hatton vs Manny- Ko 2 rounds.+ dropped twice in first.
Manny fought 8 mexican contenders back to back.
Mayweather has fought... maybe 4 decent contenders?

Pac's res>PBF's res, but I think PBF wins the fight.

Floyd is the better "boxer"...but Pac is the better "fighter". The name of the game is boxing but JMM was also a better boxer than Pac. The fight is a toss up between Pac and Floyd.

Corrales was more green than MAB was past it IMO. Castillo was controversial as JMM was except JMM rates a lot higher. Morales was still elite albeit past prime.

BTW you would have to be a fool to claim MAB was past it. no.3 p4p, winning streak against HOFers, demolished by Pac, comes back to beat Morales and a few more years at top and remains top 5 p4p.

Corrales was Green ? he was ranked no#4 on the p4p best fighter at that time and was favored to knock Floyd out, how in the world could he be little green. :patsch come on man stop with the excuses, truth be told corrales could never beat floyd, too much speed to much skill.

Morales and Barrera had beaten the hell out of each other before pac even came into the picture not to mention the wars they had before that. barrera had classic war with Kennedy Mckinney and junior Jones. morrales had lost to Raheem before dropping dropping two tko loses to Pac. His last good fight was his UD over pac in 2005 after that he was done, he and Barrera both.
