When was the last time Mayweather fought a fighter with speed and good foot work?

..... oh wait back in 2006 against Zab Judah.

Mayweather has been fighting slow plodders like Maidana 2x, Guerrero, Alvarez

mosely, unless you want to discredit him due to his age when he fought Manny.

and guess what, Floyd was more troubled with mosely's speed than Pacquiao was. For all of Floyd's 'defensive' wizardry, Mosely almost KO'd him by connecting with two huge shots in the early rounds, one of which made Floyd's knees buckle. When Shane fought Manny, he never could land such punches so it seems to me as if speed troubles Floyd more than it troubles Manny. The other fast boxer Floyd faced was Judah and Judah, like Mosely, connected two big shots, one of which could've been ruled a knock down as Floyd's right hand touched the canvas.

more reason to be worried if i were a Floyd fan, Floyd has struggled with speed more than Manny has. Granted neither has faced many fast opponents. Floyd has cherry picked slow opponents for years and Manny has't really faced any fast opponent recently, although i would argue Bradley and Algieri are faster than Maidana.

You're right, he faced and beat the "Champion of the Decade." JMM.

That BS title given by sports writers is a joke by the way. I like titles being earned in the ring, not by overweight sports writers handing them out.

I've been watching boxing for the better part of almost 30 years pal. Being a writer doesn't make you knowledgeable. That means they graduated with a degree in "journalism," not a degree in "boxing."

You probably think a news anchor knows it all huh? :rofl

Larryx is absolutely correct with this.. The fastest fighter i recall pacquaio fighting was a 130lb erik morales. Since then all slow moving, old plodders.. floyd is going to beat pac,its the inevitable!

Why would I want to be a writer when I am an Engineer? Please..... LOL. I actually like to contribute to society in a meaningful way, not just run my mouth off.

Journalism is easy as hell. White papers are much harder to write and require far more research. Let me know when a sports writer is "peer reviewed" for accuracy.

Anybody who uses a sports writer as some kind of authority is a mental midget. It is just one opinion.
