i know every one is going mad over pacman at the moment and saying he should be in the top ten of all time etc but imo he has only just taken the greatest philipino boxer of all time from pancho villa which some experts could argue with might i add, as manny is 50-3-2 and pancho villa was 80-5-3 and the only reason i am given it to pacman is because of the 7 weight classes and the ko percentage as out of pancho`s 80 wins he only got 24 ko`s.

IMO he already was after he defeated Morales. he's even arguably the greatest asian boxer ever.

He was a great fighter but Pac has already surpassed him.

I imagine you might be the type that hesitates to wholeheartedly call him the best to ever come out of Bukidnon.

Pac is the greatest filipino and asian fighter ever by some margin now.

It was pretty well settled that he's the greatest Asian fighter ever after the Hatton win. A lot of folks would have had Fighting Harada ahead of Villa even, but at this point he's clearly in front of the other challengers (Harada, Villa, Elorde, Galaxy, Kingpetch)

villa's only hall of fame win was a horribly weight weakened wilde. fighting harada and galaxy were his only asian competition and i agree, after hatton his overtook both. harada beat a better fighter (twice) in jofre but that's his only name. pac's resume has much more quantity, if not singular quality (though barrera is pretty high up there)

Galaxy doesnt hold a candle to any of those blokes...horribly overrated for some reason. He wasnt even undisputedly the best fighter in his division at the time he fought.

Elorde has a much better claim then he ever could.

Harada I reckon had more then just one name Jorodz....He had a pretty deep resume himself...Jofre, Kingpetch, Ebihara, Medel, Rudkin, robbed against Famechon. One of the most versatile and well rounded (apart from power) fighters you are ever going to see at the lighter weights.
No argument from me who is the greater fighter...Its Pac by a length but to many people seemed to think that he surpassed Harada a long time ago and I just cant agree with that.

Had Villa lived past the age of 24. We would have had a debate, the guy was a hired assasin, brought to America to brutalize people in the ring.
