True, it is sad to see. But unfortunately people and circumstances change and call for a remedy. Very often when things can't be resolved amicably, letting sentiments get in the way can prove very detrimental. BTW Not saying who's to blame in this case since I am not familiar with the details involved.
First it was the judges and the ref then Arum now Roach does this guys ever cop a loss on the chin? Not only that but his fanbois go into a hyperventilating slobber every time Manny give an excuse. He got beat, didn't do his homework came for an easy payday paid the price. Deal with it.. Horn would do well with anew trainer with some more knowledge..
I personally don't consider that the Biblically described God is involved in such violent contests. In fact, I find it incompatible with Christianity. On the other hand, you seem to agree since you do use the term "god" instead of "God". Not questioning Manny's sincerity in his prayers of course. His sincerity is not in doubt. Neither am I judging his status before the creator. That is totally between the twain. Just pointing out the discrepancy.
I think the ignore thing is cultural. There is a word for when filipino wives get upset with the husband and won't talk to him for hours or days. My wife doesn't do that though. I could use the silence for sure. Not sure if the guys do that or not.
Aging is much harder for those who have enjoyed exceptional youthful vigor so his stubborn reaction to the negative physical changes is understandable. No one enjoys being gradually physically devalued as if being prepared for the grave.
I always thought Roach was the wrong trainer for Pac. His in fight instructions are terrible. Before the 12 th rd of the Mayweather fight all he said was ''throw some combinations''. I think he would have done better with Rick Staheli the guy that took him to his 1st world title.
Probably because Manny is planning to change trainer and change promoter. If that's the case - Good move Manny !
