    Says who?

Do you mean the number one in the division?

pac man could have been a 7 weight champ as he skipped bantamweight , he jumped from super flyweight to super bantam

not exactly #1... but "the man" of the division. to be the man, you have to beat the man which implies a lineage. barrera became the man @126 by beating hamed. pac became the man @126 by beating barrera.

if the lineal championship is vacant, the consensus #1 and #2 in the division can fight to establish a new lineage. that's what happened when pac beat jmm @130. and pac (#1) wasn't even a holder of any alphabet belt/title at that time.

    The Man = Undisputed

    Undisputed = Lineal

You’re confusing ‘The Man’ with ‘Number One’.

This freak **** was only created in 2005 when Corrales beat Castillo.

The Ring Title don’t mean ****… LOL Vitali was the Ring Heavyweight Champion.

For good reason, he got KO'd at Flyweight and knew it was too hard to make the weight.

Let's face it, at anywhere below super bantam, PAC was way too big for the 5'-2" guys he was fighting!

How can he be 5? He's either 4 or 6. 4 if you dont recognise Lineal/Ring which IMO is the more credible of the lot. 6 if you do recognize them. You cant say he won a championship for beating Hatton the RIng & Lineal champ yet not give him the championship when he beat MAB at 126 also the Ring & Lineal champ.

    The lineal championshp doesn't need a strap,title,belt.
And it was for the Ring magazine belt.

Right, and MAB was THE MAN. Hamed held all titles at FW, MAB beat him therefore became THE MAN. MAB never lost his belts at 126, he was stripped off them so other guys could win them so set aside the money issues of the belts, MAB was still sitting at top. Pac destroyed him and claimed the real championship, The Ring & Lineal championship.

Some fighters choose to relinquish their belts because they dont want to pay the fee's for holding it, which is bull**** cos titles are suppose to signify who the champ is, not who has the money to pay to keep it. BS to that. Thats why the Ring & Lineal championships are the most credible, you can only loose it on the ring and doesnt have fees to keep it.

    No I'm not.
Barrera beat Hamed,Kelley,Sanchez,Tapia and Morales when he lost to Pacquiao.
He was clearly the champion of the division.
Or do you give more credit for beating the WBC champ David Diaz?
