Yea, but my point is that you got to at least unify to carry the linage.

Vitali was The Ring Heavyweight Champion FFS, has he ever won the WBA/IBF Heavyweight Title?

(MAB was ‘The Man’… I’m confused, did I say he wasn’t? Hamed unified yea).

Sorry I haven’t read your previous posts, are you arguing that MAB and Naz were lineal featherweight champions? Because I don’t disputed this.

Was Barrera the lineal champion at featherweight when he entered the ring to fight Pacquiao in 2003?
    Yes or no?

Yes, that’s what I was asking, I don’t dispute this.

Hamed unified (albeit a stripped Wilfredo Vazquez, but unified none the less).

Vitali never won the lineal championshop as far as I'm concerned. Lennox Lewis was the Lineal & Ring champ...Vitali failed.

You can become a ring champ with the no.1 ranked fighter by ring beating the no.2 ranked fighter. Thats if the Ring belt is lost, as in the case of Lennox where no one actually won it. Almost like fighting for a vacant title.

BTW your telling me that if Lennox relinquished all his title belts, still recognised by Ring as champ and obviously the Lineal champ, Vitali beat him you would call Vitali a champ? Instead he has to Beat Valuev to be champ? lol.

Yea, I’m making the point that Vitali Klitschko was The Ring Heavyweight Champion.

Has Vitali Klitschko ever won the WBA/IBF Heavyweight Title…

    If…

    Ring Title = ‘lineage’.

Yea I do (Ruslan Chagaev anyway).

    And…

How the f**k was Jose Luis Castillo ever Lineal Champion then?

No one has ever unified since Whittaker.

I'm not sure, when did he become ring champ, before or after Corrales? If after maybe its because him & Corrales was rated 1 & 2, obviously 1 beating the other would create a new champ. If it was before I dont know how Castillo & Casa was rated, but if they were 1 & 2, again he could have become the ring champ.

Why dont somebody get this straight. The Ring Magazine title is NOT the linear title. ALMOST ALWAYS, the ring magazine follows the lineal champ, but that is not always the case. Ex.....Roy Jones is the Ring Mag 175 champion....but the "real champ" is Darius Michelczewski who lost it to Julio Cezar Gozales in 2003.

How the **** does the equivalent of a WBA and WBC champion fighting create a new linear champion?
