Difference,Jones is not looking good while Pac is looking good in that round.

It's a lucky shot. Manny stepped on Marquez's foot. And when Marquez pulled it out, it sent Manny off-balance and forward — right into the perfect right hand.

Pacquiao could have easily pull out in the last seconds of that round as he is way ahead, but Pac wants to satisfy the crowd.

JMM don't want a fifth fight, because he knows lighting does not strike twice.

    Are you kidding?

Jones was making Tarver look slow and dumb until that shot landed...

I have seen sparing videos where JMM was practicing that exact punch.. He knew he could eventually catch him with it.

That KO would not happened without the foot stomping. It was a lucky shot. JMM don't want another fight with Pac, he knows he is lucky.

    Marquez stepped on manny's foot...???

Look at Marquez's foot, it's in front of Pacquiao's, not on it...!!!

That is your opinion.. And I agree Manny was beating his ass, but he just got careless. I blame it more on Manny's carelessness than I do JMM's luck. He is a counter puncher, come at him too aggressive and careless and that is what happens.

And not to get off topic, but in a way it happened to Roy...

Over the years he started throwing his lead right careless, almost like he thought no one would ever catch on, meanwhile McGirt and Tarver had been planning on capitalizing on it. I think it was the first lead right Roy completely missed in the fight, and Tarver had his plan. Yeah he closed his eyes, but he already knew he had a money shot.

The difference here, is Roy was never able to get back up an be an elite fighter, but Pac got up, beat a prime P4P fighter, and is in one of the biggest fights in boxing history.

I agree Pac is very fast but people on here tend to forget that Floyd is also very fast.

Not a lucky punch. Perfectly timed right that he had used with success previously. Marquez took an educated risk in taking some damage to perfectly land the bomb after realising Pacquaio was open to it and 'boom' the rest is history.

Dude if you have trouble understanding the difference between a standing 8 count and a mandatory 8 count I don't think you will get much credence for any opinion you have on boxing.

I almost feeling like I'm trolling here but in defence of RJJ after some savage defeats he's won his last seven fights in a row and at the age of 46 he's stopped his last three opponents (something Manny hasn't managed since 2009). I know the opposition are world's apart but Pacquiao will be a distant memory at that age whilst RJJ is still being discussed in current terms.

That said if RJJ thinks Pacquaio is winning against Mayweather then maybe his brain is still addled from those earlier KOs he suffered!

Lets not forget also that JMM had fought Pac 3 times, and finally caught him on one of his mistakes while lunging in..

That in no way means Floyd will also be able to time him.. I can imagine it takes a while if ever you can get used to the way Manny fights.

Was the right hand he landed that put Manny on his ass earlier in the fight a lucky punch too?

Don't worry. I am a huge Jones fan, there is no way you could troll me while sticking up for him.

Like you said, the competition levels are miles apart, and if 46 year old Pac wants to fight the level of fighters Roy has been lately, he would KTFO of them too.:yep
