I'm not to sure what you're trying to prove, but different fighters have different primes. Riddick Bowe is a prime example of a fighter who only lasted a couple of years, whereas in contrast, Bernard Hopkins is still competing at elite level despite being over 40 years of age. Barrera wasn't at his best against Pacman, regardless of how well Pacquiao performs in his next bout.

I think its an interesting comparison.

Barrera didn't perform at his best but that can be said for so many fighters. Hamed didn't perform at his best against Barrera, PAc didn't perform at his best when he lost to Morales, Corrales didn't perform at his best when he lost to PBF, etc.

Barrera wasn't at his best, but even at his best Pac beats him.

That being said, he is at the age that those guys were when he met them. I think he will lose in his next 3 fights and will begin to look his age soon.

JUst to put things in proper perspective, here's a list of MOrales opponents before and around the time Pac came into world prominence against Ledwaba:

    Injin CHi
    Guty Espadas
    Kevin Kelley
    Barrera
    McCullough
    Juan Carlos Ramirez
    Junio Jones
    Zaragoza
    :deal :yikes

which means we'll see manny slowing down in his next couple of fights.

I hope Manny gets to fight Hatton in Wembley Stadium. Would be one helluva win.

My point is to bring up an interesting comparison that will in turn bring up a discussion on the topic, and so far so good.

I think that its gonna be interesting to see how PAc performs at this stage in his career compared to how other great fighters like Barrera and Morales performed at similar stages.

There's a shitload of factors why Pac will not reach his decline around the same time as MAB/Morales did, one of the main factors is the superior number of "battles" MAB/MOrales were involved in by the time they were the age Pac is now!

...same babana... pac's body was already in battle at the age of 16?! while mab/morales started older than pac..
barely 4 yrs after being a teenager his body is already being banged up in the fight!

for a change, can you pls stop looking for loop holes for pac. pac ain't perfect buddy!

have you ever noticed that pac is never too good for you? I mean probably 9 out 10 your thread is basically saying negative against pac..

although I MUST agree. You talk more sense than maestro..
I'm not saying you are a pac hater..all I'm saying is that you always have a way to put down pac..at least it's written in an objective manner unlike the real pac haters..

    Morales started early too.

Pac has been in some wars though. The 1st and 2nd Morales matches, and the Marquez fights are no joke. He isn't as ring worn as those two guys were but isn't too far off in my estimation.

DId you really take that to be an anti-Pac post.:huh

Sorry to tell you this but you are a typical overly-sensitive nuthugging ******* and maybe ESB is not the place for you:deal

And just for the record, MAB started his professional career at 15
and MOrales was about the same age as Pac.

Now go back to Pacland you ******:patsch
