pac was great tonight. he had the speed, volume punching, the right hand, sharp combos, good defense, etc. that's the result of not being weight-drained to make weight. he will flourish @135 and the fight w/ hatton @140 will happen.

After that fight, I don't think there's any question that Manny's #1 P4P. Aside from losing a bit of steam, I think in the 8th and letting himself get hit by Diaz a few times, that was a perfect performance from him. Never saw him use that right jab so well or be as precise on the whole.

Be patient! Wait for your turn (JMM). It will come! Like I said many times JMM has the ability to win but winning in a devastating manner
was never part of JMM's resume.

Ok I'll be generous.. Winning in a devastating manner is hardly part of JMM's resume.

Lets see how he performs against papa casa! Yes he will win but it's no brainer it will not be as devastating as what pac did to diaz! That's for sure!

I thought he already was P4P #1, since Mayweather left. If all it takes is beating a David Diaz fighter 1 division up from the one you've been in for the last couple of years, then it's quite an easy ranking to obtain.

Just shows you how favoured some guys are.:yep

It was only David Diaz. I will reserve judgement until he has fought some of the better guys in the division.

    :good

Precisely. If all it takes to be P4P #1 is jumping up a division and defeating a 2nd tier level fighter like Diaz.:patsch

But that brings me to the next point, he was ALREADY P4P #1 by most people, why the sudden 'it's cemented' attitude now just over David Diaz?

You have to remember that 99% of posters on here are ******s who dont think with logic. For Pacs lightweight legacy to have any meaning he must fight the winner of Campbell/Guzman.

From the get go we know that pac was the favorite but not everybody expected pac to dominate a bigger diaz like that. That's what made people gave pac mad props...
