In that pic and looking at the size of their fists Pac looks bigger -- I didn't realize the height of Pac and the height of Diaz ... i'm sure measuring from Pac's last fight that his body is going to look more full. I thought Diaz was going to have a size advantage ... If Pac dominates this guy then he should move up to 140 ... I was against it before, but it would be interesting to see how it would unfold ... or look to fight Amir Khan !! To Pac Fans: I read on ESPN that Pac is going for his 5th title in as many weight classes ... is that true? and what titles were they?
WBC Flyweight, WBC Int Super Bantamweight, IBF Jr Featherweight, WBC Super Featherweight + a few other SPW titles..
Flyweight, super bantamweight, super featherweight, and he won the ring magazine featherweight title from M.A.B -- You can argue thats 4 and that he's going for his 5th against Diaz.
For a guy that doesn't have much boxing skill ... this guy is surely a winner. His hand speed isn't matched by any fighter in history and his power has got him this far through his career. He has worked on his boxing skill, but it hasn't helped him as much as his speed and power. **** 4 linear titles ... 3 world championship straps ... I got him winning 2 ring magazine titles (126 & 130) ... do you know of any more?
I can't lie Sandman ... i've spent alot of time hating on manny when i was just annoyed with some of his fans. I always watch this guy fight and I always leave feeling like I got my money's worth (expcept with Barrera II - because Barrera bitched up) Its going to be tough and i'm going into this fight with Diaz w/ no expectations to see how this **** unfolds because coming up from Flyweightis going to be a journey and I never heard of a fighter coming up from that weight and winning a lightweight title. I wish Pac the best of luck ... win or lose ... i'm going to continue to watch him.
No doubt he's a great fighter has already exceeded our expectations, but now it's like people are expecting or wanting more from him.. I don't even like some of his fans or nuthuggers as you would say.. He has already written some history and if he beats Diaz, more history will be written.. Pacquiao is always exciting to watch and never has he been a boring fighter.. His trip to the lightweight division is gonna' be rough, but if he succeed's, he would have again done more than what some of us expected.. 112 to 135? Now that is a journey.
