Best fighter of the decade?

He got KTFO by JMM, he got outclassed against Floyd, he lost to Horn & Bradley = Fighter of the Decade?

Share some of whatever you're smoking.

I haven't gone quiet, I just believe there isnt any point talking to you about this subject.

No disrespect, honestly, but you've made your mind up and nothing I say will make any difference regardless of facts or reasoned opinion.

Also I said Pacquiao wasn't fighter of the decade and you've gone on to the subject of Mayweather and NSAC.

You don't want to talk about Pacquiao losing to Mayweather, what actually happened in the ring.

You don't want to talk about Marquez knocking Pacquiao SPARK OUT.

You don't really want to talk about 1 stoppage win in 8 years.

You don't really want to talk about losing to Jeff Horn.

You want to take the conversation away from discussing the suggestion of Pacquaio and the "fighter of the decade" claim and want to go over old boring unproven rumour and suspicion and turn this in to a Mayweather/Pacquiao argument.

What do you wan me to say?

    I agree 100%

Some Pacquaio fans haven't taken it very well.

i dont rate pac and floyd as equals, they arent the same size, so chopping down the same tree isnt the same accomplishment. cause achievements, for the purposes of recognition, are measured in difficulty. perhaps floyd, had he been forced to take the same road, would have surpassed those achievements. or, had manny had the resources available to floyd from the jump, could have surpassed both their current achievements. fact is, one faced bigger odds and continuously beat those odds. an american olympic boxing medalist and a street urchin start a climb to the pinnacle of their chosen sport, who would you place your bet on?
im writing under the assumption we are talking about the award he actually got, not this decade.

Mayweather fanboys shouldn't be harping on Pacquiao. If anything, last night, Bradley 3, and Vargas all improve the quality of Floyd's victory over Pacquiao.

How do you beat someone running and hugging? Hugging and bending below the belt are illegal moves, same as low blows and rabbit punches. Just because the ref tolerates it doesn't make it right. Should be minus points everytime that was initiated.

Even Floyds daddy had to ask him why he was fighting scared. And boxing is about hurting, only Floyd got hurt in that fight.

You gents are missing the most important point about Manny and Floyd. Manny still has to fight but Floyd don't. If Floyd was still pressed to fight, you best believe that he would be in top shape and would still school Pac.

I'm not really a Pacquaio fan I'm a boxing fan. I believe a boxing match should be a fair evenly matched contest with the better man on the night rightfully getting the win. That wasn't the case with Floyd & Manny. Manny never had a fair fight & everyone knows that. No one in the last15 years had a strictly fair fight against Floyd.
I respect what Manny did in the ring Floyd?? An exceptionally talented fighter who never really used all those talents
We'll just have to agree to disagree I guess we cannot all agree on everything can we? Take Care

    Schooling isn't running.

If he was schooling him, why did daddy have to ask him to stop fighting scared? Why did he have to resort to illegal moves like hugging and bending below the belt? Why didn't he get minus points everytime he did that? Its illegal, and it causes stinkers.

That's a question you have to ask his daddy. All I know is that Mayweather won on the scorecards going away.

Yep....and the fact that fans had to pay extra for the PPV was absolutely ridiculous to begin with...then after all the years of build-up and hype....Floyd doesn't even engage in a fight. Brutal. Back in the old days fans would've stormed the ring and demanded their money back for that kind of display from the so-called greatest.
