It seems likely we will be seeing these two again in the ring. We know Manny and his team when it comes to their opponents weight. It's either they want them going up in weight class or meeting at a catchweight. Marquez perform very well last time they met and even Manny understimated Marquez and confess he didn't think Marquez was going to be as fast as he was because of the weight. Now question is, if they agree to fight again will they fight at the same weight class as they fought last time 144? Or lower than 144 which I highly doubt? Or will they meet this time at anything higher than 144, which I believe Manny will ask for this fight to take place at 147?
Manny and Marquez are the same size. The fight could be contracted at 160 and it wouldn't make a difference
It wouldn't?:huh So Manny could comfortably make 140, why wouldn't his team agree to fight Marquez there?
Arent you people tired of arguing over every little ****ing pound? Its like every thread theres someone crying and bitching over catchweights and over one or two pounds. Its like groundhog day over here for some posters always discussing the same thing every day. The fight will be staged at whatever the weight it will be and it will be another close fight end of. Thats All.
Sorry buddy, but everything matters in boxing and even the smallest things become very important. When it comes to weight one or two pounds could make the difference and is one of the most if not the most underrated thing a boxer has to accomplish in his career.
@This point who cares unless they try & drag JMM to 154. Anywhere from 140-147lbs Marquez does it again. (School)
Theres been catchweight fights since the beginning of last century. Its not something new and its not a big deal. And everyday i see the same posters arguing themselves silly over the same subject over and over again. My advice is stop beating on a dead horse and move on. But feel free to do as you wish.
As long as JMM has Angel Heredia feeding him the good stuff again then it doesn't matter what weight Manny picks
As mentioned numerous times before, weight is irrelevant between these two. They're more or less the same size. It'll take place at 147.
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mrrkbm5zQPg[/ame] Big Marquez fan (big Pac fan, too), but I am of the opinion that Dinamita had some unnatural dynamite cursing through his veins. In this video, Marquez pops a speed bag, then walks over to a mirror and admires his new muscles. Dude looks at himself and is like HELL YES.
He could simply be training in a different way to usual and eating different foods to normal. He is looking a lot thicker, i agree but i cant stand PED name calling without proof. What proof do you have other than hes got more muscles?
Don't matter...I like 140 for Marquez but it won't make much of a difference. Marquez will have his number and get robbed like before. Same thing in the 4th...then Arum will push a 5th fight.
