Well, there goes to drain some historical fight...anyway, good for the Pacman. There's still a lot of fight options in the horizon.

still better than picking fights that he is sure to win dont you think?, i'd rather see a fighter who doesnt care if he wins or lose as long as he goes in and gives his best.

btw, if Hatton would lose to Paulie, would it mean that Hatton is the weaker pick compared to the others at 135?

I'd rather see him win a competitive fight... than to get KO by a guy whom he has almost zero chance of beating. The fight is all about the benjamins... pretty obvious don't you think?

It was the best thing that Pacman could have done. He has good fights that can be made where he is now, that can make him good money and be good for the sport

I think its a sound decision. It really isn't so much in him making the biggest payday of his career. Pac is already a very wealthy man in his own right. It has more to do with his proper take on a potential megafight that would've generated so much money.

Financially speaking,is it fair for Pac to take only 30% when he is generating as much intrigue and interest(if not more) in the fights as Hoya? I mean jeez, in addition to the 80 million in the Philippines, I bet the million flips in America will be tuning in, as well as the millions of other Flips spread out all over the world. Pac has an enormous built in audience. Outside of that, there will be a huge interest from the non-filipino boxing public as to whether how Pac will fare against a much bigger man....especially against Oscar. Does Hoya think that Pac's contribution to this megafight amounts to only 30% of the purse?

In the context of actual boxing, Is 30% fair when he's giving up so much in weight, height, and reach? Is it fair to give the man universally regarded as the long-reigning most exciting fighter on the planet and the current consensus p4p#1 30%?.....

It seems to me, that it is Hoya who is outpricing himself. Dont get me wrong, Hoya is a proven commodity and deserves the majority share. But leaving 30% is a blatant slap on the face and Hoya must've known that a just as proven commodity like Pac would've scoffed at that offer.

...Quite frankly, if I were Pac I'd be insulted. It's not about absolute numbers, it's about knowing your relative worth in a fight.

He's telling people not to worry. He thinks everybody is worried because the fihgt might not happen.

BTW, Pacd hates you and CJ... he's telling one of his friend to recruite some of the Pac fans to other site, but he doesn't want you or CJ over there.

Update on this situation. Apparently Roach is trying to convince Manny to reconsider the 70/30 offer. Team Pac should fire this turncoat right now. It's clear that he doesn't care about Pac. He's nothing but another Golden Boy puppet; all too willing to let Oscar string his ******ed ass along. I knew this guy was getting his hand greased by Golden Boy. These disgraceful actions only strenghten my doubts about the Joke Coach.

I think he refused to fight DLH because he knew he was going to lose -coz of the unfair weight conditions.

Just cos Roach thinks he can beat DLH and fans who know 0 about real boxing dont, he should be fired? You guys just know what you see on TV. Roach has trained both oscar and Manny, im pretty sure he knows what pac's chances are like.

Personally I think Pac should take 70/30 if he cant get 65/35. I mean who is he gonna fight next otherwise, Humberto 7 ****ing losses Soto??? Im a big Pac fan and I cant even bring myself to look forward to that fight. Now should Nate Campbell or Guzman be available im all good for that.

I got a feeling this is just Arum's ploy to try get ODLH to ease off a bit and bend over a little. In the end perhaps they'll get the 65/35 mark they want.
