Pacquiao is not Mayweather, and he sure is hell is not the biggest draw ever. This story sounds absurd and I question it's validity. If it is true, good luck to Pacquiao. The money would be coming out of Arum's pocket anyway, and he has plenty of it.

Relax cup cake! How is it ridiculous money demands?:huh It's only $1 dollar more than Floyd's highest gurantee.:rofl That's what's funny to me. Will he get it? I dont know nor do I really care, but if it's there he deserves it!.

This fight isn't shitty bro! As a boxing fan you should know that. The Josh fight wasn't suppose to be shitty but Josh came to survive. The Floyd/Mosley fight wasn't suppose to be shitty either but you can't control the opponents and how they perfrom.

Manny isn't trying to keep up with Floyd....he's obviously in a much better position overall than Floyd but Manny's still human...he's taking a jab at Floyd for NOT taking the fight. So Money is where Floyd will feel the most impact....Manny is just making it obvious if this is in fact true!:rofl

The fight may not do 2.4 Mill in PPV buys but It will do over 1 million for sure and that is a success.....coupled with the fact this fight is gonna be sold out at the cowboy stadium the fight itself is gonna be a success.

The big question is will there be ENOUGH money generated to justify this kind of gurantee. That I don't know but Arum won't go for it if he isn't gonna make money!

Shane vs Floyd did well and should do more numbers in PPVs b/c Marg just ain't a US draw like Shane is. But Manny's popularity should make up for it.

    He made this **** up....
Get the stick out of your ass and stop coming back to this thread if it bothers you so much.

He just baiting *******s that say he deserves 50% against Mayweather, but when a story like this comes out, they all defend Pacman saying he would never ask for something like this.

And obviously they aren't going to delete this thread, you posted 3 times and no one gives a **** if a thread has a source or not.

    this has really backfired....
If they Believe Pacquiao is a equal draw as Mayweather, they need to pay him like Mayweather or more..

Lol damn they shot themselves in the foot.
Just like the jets did with Revis..LMAO

    All last year
JETS: Revis the best corner ever, the best in the league... blah blah

Revis: Well **** if that is true, Pay me like the best in the league.

Bob Arum: Pacquiao is the biggest draw in the sport, bigger than Ali, Bigger than floyd we want 50/50!!

Pacquiao: Well **** if that is true, Pay me like the biggest draw in the sport!!.
Now Bob Arum has to back up his words, and we see how he really feels about Pacquiao!!

Since when is Shane a draw?:patsch:lol:

Pac's popularity would make up for a fight with Bradley...Alexander...Berto...Mosley...ect ect.

WHY FIGHT TONY'S UN-LICENSED ASS IN THE FIRST PLACE??

    :think:think

Let's break down the numbers roughly and see if it works out assuming Pac's demand of a $22.5 Million guarantee is true.

$7 Million site fee (what it was for Pac/Clottey)
$5 Million Live Gate - probably 60-70K tickets sold
$25 Million PPV revenues - est. 1 Million PPV sales, 50% going to broadcaster

$ ??? Other misc television rights and sponsors

Arum will likely pocket over $40 Million in total revenues so even if he pays about $30 Million in purses to his fighters he's still ahead big time.

The question is whether Arum is willing to take a little risk since his guarantees are typically lower in exchange for his fighters taking larger amounts in the PPV sales.
