Manny "MONEY" Pacquiao wants $ 22.5 MILLION Guaranteed for Mosley.
It has been reported by several sources that Pacquiao has demanded Bob Arum guarantee him more money than Floyd Mayweather got against Shane Mosley in May. Which According to contracts filled with The Nevada Athletic Commission was $22,500,000.
Manny "MONEY" Pacquiao wants to become the highest paid fighter in boxing, and he is now demanding Bob Arum make it happen for the Mosley fight.
According to numerous reports, Manny is asking for one dollar more Guaranteed Money than what Mayweather receive for Mosley which would be
    $22,500,001.
Which now the question has to be asked, Why is Manny Pacquiao so concerned about making the exact amount Mayweather made for his last fight against Mosley, better yet he wants 1 dollar more.
Based on Pacquiao previous Guaranteed Purses, His demand of $22,500,001.
    Dollars should be considered absurd.

Remind you that, in order for Showtime and Top Rank to break even on that request Manny vs. Mosley would have to at least hit 1.2 Million buys which would probably net $54 Million in PPV revenue, and his gate would have to exceed $10 Million dollars.

    Question of the Thread

So the question now is, do you guys think Manny is justifed in his request of a guarantee of $22,500,001 million dollars against Mosley considering his past Fight Revenue income generated?

If Arum denies Pacquiao's request he is basically telling Pacquiao he is not a big of draw as Mayweather, and therefore undercutting his argument that Pacquiao deserves 50% against Mayweather.

Remember Arum said Pacquiao is a bigger draw than Ali, but Arum doesnt want to pay him like Ali

I can not help but believe that Pacquiao saw the contract on Mayweather's twitter page and was like
"WTF" why isnt Bob Arum guaranteeing me $25 Million per fight !!!

Mayweather making $22.5 on guaranteed money alone, plus PPV money, for the Mosley fight which netted him $40 according to every report must have had team Pacquiao rethinking their business model.

  12. He simply wants to take another one of Mayweather's hallow arguments away. It won't work, Mayweather will keep it up no matter how much Pacquiao makes. The whole thing is a petty dick measuring contest.

Hilarious. It shows you deep down Pac knows he is second!

Sad thing is that Mayweather GAVE Manny 50%. He gave MP what he wanted. All he wanted was a drug test. Manny choked!

 I don't care what anyone says....PAC is hell bent on sticking it to Floyd one way or the other. If he can't get the man in the ring to beat him he's doing everything he can to beat him at everything else.

He took his P4P crown, he took his spot as the number 1 WW in the world, he over took Floyd in the popularity category and now he's trying to best Floyd in a bigger purse by a measly buck.:rofl

Does he desvere? Who knows...that's a lot of cake for one nights work. But a good question to ask is.....Did Floyd deserve that kind of gurantee. If you think he did then PAC MAN most certainly deserves that kind of gurantee based on what he's done in boxing.

Shhhhhit....PAC was the one who gave Floyd 50% and Floyd accepted b/c he knew he didn't have the clout to ask for the lions share. The split was based on their lates PPV numbers where Floyd did 1 mill with JMM and PAC did 1.25 mill with Cotto.
