    Stupid comparision, Jones had bulked up that extra weight. Hattons already boiling to 140.

    It's not stupid. I'd say it's dedication. It's not secret about Hatton's dedication to his workiing out. We all have heard of his partying and drinking. If he wanted to lose 5 pounds during a 8-10 or 12 week camp, it could be done.

    I agree, i think hatton could get down, it would be hard the later in his career it gets but some time next year he could do it, it would be hard but possible.

    Thanx Pijo. Hard, but possible is a good way of putting it. Afterall, we're only talking about a fantasy matchup. I highly doubt they would fight unless Manny decided to get brave and put on the weight.

    Im Jones case all he had to to lose 25lbs of muscle was to stop lifting weights and taking steroids. Thats not dedication.

    Hatton is not tight at 140

    This has never been said by anyone official and he's never missed the weight on the scales. He makes 140 easy

    If he really wanted to he could make 135, yeah it would be a bit of a push but I'm sure he could...

    He would massacre Manny P at 135 anyway/.....

    getting up to the 147 weight was no issue for hatton, he comes in to fights in the 140 division at around that weight, hatton would struggle like **** to get to 135. manny would have to come up, and get battered in 6 brutal rounds. hattons way too big, strong and bullish for him.

    GAZoc, are you serious!!! you're a funny guy. You dont lose 25 pounds of muscle by simply stopping lifting weights. Why would you say Jones was taking steroids. That's messed up man.

    Well Gaz, if hatton is struggling at 140 like you say he is, then his going to find himself in no man's land. I say this b/c he clearly doesnt belong at 147 b/c he cant handle the size factor. so where the hell is he going to fight? looks like Floyd is going to have to retire his ass. Oh, and I'm not a Floyd fan. I actually wouldnt mind seeing hatton beat floyd .

    I feel you Plug, but where FLoyd lacks the size Collazo had, he makes up for it in overall skills. Hatton couldnt deal with Collazo's speed, so how is going to deal with Floyd's. But like most say, styles make fights. I hope Ricky can take it to floyd's ass.

    i give sticky wicky next to no chance against floyd, but he won't be troubled by floyds size. like you said it will be his speed and ring smarts and the fact he is just a far better boxer.

    Hatton will weigh in at 144ish for the Mayweather fight and stay there for fight time.

    Oh, and damn right Jones was on roids....
