Since we all know size is unimportant and skill only matters. Manny Pac is more skilled than each of these guys. Also Manny Pac is considered a hard puncher for his size. So I say it is a 100 percent fact that Manny Pac would knock each of these tomato cans out in the first or second round just like he did Ricky Hatton.

Congrats for showing that a position no one holds is dumb.

Everyone knows sizes matters, but a whole lot else matters too. Size differences have been overcame plenty of times, even very large ones.

If Manny had proved that he could beat elite LHWs or even MWs, then it wouldn't be that bad thread. He never did that though, so why should we pick him?

It's a point he's making, Dempsey, Tunney and Rocky never proved they could beat elite HWs over 200lbs, still people here pick them to beat Foreman, Ali and Lewis ect.

Dempsey actually did - Willard, Fulton, Firpo and Morris. Of course none of them were as good as Foreman, Ali or Lewis but at least he had an experience of beating much bigger and good fighters. He also beat Brennan, Sharkey and Smith - all of them were pretty much 1970s sized HWs and weighed almost 200 lbs.

I agree that Tunney didn't show enough to have him over other elite HWs who are bigger than him. He was an amazing talent but his resume at HW is very weak.

    Today? Naah.

You´d have to wait another 60 years into the 4D-era. Thats when the shady 3D-YT-fighters will become real champs, getting better day by day.
