I think they're harder fights mostly due to their size, stylewise i have doubts if they're harder fights for Floyd than Pac is.

I do, but you have to give the people what they want right?

Mosely will tell us much of what we need to know about the Pac fight.

williams is harder for any 140 or 147. mosley is harder than all of them because he can knock you out

Pac, Williams, and Shane are all tough fights for anybody including Mayweather. With the style that Manny fights with, his trouble against good counter punchers, and being smaller than the other two mentioned. I will have to say Pac just might be easier than Mosley and Williams. That doesn't mean Pac will be an easy fight though.

I completely agree with the thread starter. This is so much the case that if Floyd completely dominates Mosley, it will remove some of the luster of the PBF Pac matchup.

This is because it will answer two of the main questions: How will PBF deal with speed and power. I don't think Mosley's combinations are as good as Pac's so the answer of Pac's southpaw stance and his unique combinations will still be unanswered.

So if PBF dominates Mosley alot of the luster will definitely be removed.

No it won't. Mosley and Pac are nothing alike man. Stylistically Floyd really shouldn't have a problem with Mosley at all. Mosley has trouble with technical boxers.

If Mosley fights a super determined/aggressive fight , I think he has a shot but I can't see him doing anything to Floyd in the middle of the ring.

Pac is the harder fight for Floyd. Southpaw, light-footed, fast hands, good power, high workrate, super aggressive/talented. Williams would be a tough fight too.

Floyd will disagree. Why demand so much if Pac will be an easier apponent.

I disagree. The only think I see Pac bringing to the table is punch volume and probably better body work.

Then to say Mosley has trouble with technical boxers? At least Mosley has experienced it, and lost. Pac doesn't? That is right, Pac won't fight them.

Dude I do not know which Pac you watch because out of all of the attributes you list I am not really seeing what you see. I don't see "light footed" as a Pac plus. He hops and dives, he will pay for that. The advantages of being a Southpaw are also the disadvantages. The difference is footwork. Are you going to say Manny has better footwork too?

BEEN SAYING THAT FOR A WHILE...PAC FANS JUST THINK THERE BOY IS A GOD OR SOME **** AND THUS HE WILL BE HARDER FOR FLOYD..TO THAT I SAY "STYLES MAKE FIGHTS" AND MAYWEATHER IS ALL WRONG FOR MANNY..STRAIGHT PUNCHES BEAT WIDE LOOPING ONES AND BETTER FOOTWORK ALLOWS U TO STAY 2-3 STEPS AHEAD OF YOUR OPPONENT

PAC CANT GET THE ANGLES HE NEEDS ON FLOYD TO LAND..FLOYD KNOCKS HIM AROUND 11...WILL BE A BIT COMPETITIVE BUT AFTER SEEING MANNY SAT NIGHT IT WONT BE COMPETITIVE AS I ORIGINALLY THOUGHT:bbb

Honestly Williams is a much harder fight for Mayweather due to his size versus Williams, Williams has a very high work rate but is able to stand at a distance which would force Mayweather to stay inside his wheel house and fight phone both style or to jump in and out. While both are easier against opponents closer to his height and reach against someone as tall and rangy as Williams they are a lot harder to execute.

Pac by virtue of his size disadvantage will lunge more than usual. he will be countered often. Physical fighters bother floyd more than just an active fighter like Pac.

Pac is on another level, Williams would be countered by Floyd all night and I don't think Mosley is going to be too difficult for Mayweather..

Pacquiao and Mayweather are the two best fighters of this generation, they MUST fight

    Why can't they see that?

I see feints and Manny doing full on lunges into straight rights. Clottey was hitting him with straight rights while he was moving back with no trickery! No foot placement. No feints. No block or slip from Pac. He just ate it! How in the hell do they figure he will dodge Mayweather?

Mosley due to experience and brutatility. Williams due to punch volume and height/reach.
