the fact there are 17 weight divisions multiplied by the number of titles per weight division these days its watered down
whats more impressive is him owning a legit flyweight title as well as a welterweight title later.... no one will do that again

 

Of those 8 paper titles, how many did he defend?

 

interim and catch weight titles should be excluded thats for sure

 

Henry Armstrong holding 3 different weight class Championships simultaneously (all 3 undisputed) is Legendary, especially during the time there was only 8 weight classes with one belt per and Armstrong held 3/8 of all Championships...what Pacquiao is doing is a rarity...!!!

Where you rank Pac all-time probably never heard that.i had him about 30.or so,unique fighter with his power and speed.

 

I think Pac's win over Margo is pretty good regardless. The size difference was huge. Margarito was a good enough fighter that if you couple that with the size disparity, considering Margarito's chin and stamina as well, it's a damn good feat.

Seven reasonable world titles. That Margarito bout was nothing but an exhibition.
A good feat, don't get me wrong, but the title was nonsense.

Hadn't he jumped a weight class (super flyweight I believe?), he would've been a legit 8 division titlist.

 

He's straight up an ATG. Can you picture any flyweight right at this moment winning a LMW title, or even being a P4P great Welterweight? I mean, look, Marg, wasn't a LMW, I'll give it that. But people don't realise how big of a climb Pac has made. His loss to FMJ did literally nothing to effect my opinion of him (a Mayweather win wouldn't of changed my opinion on Mayweather either), he achieved everything he needed to before that fight.

I think having 4 lineal titles in 4 different divisions is also noteworthy and would take a while to be broken.

 

Yea its ****ing hard to picture a flyweight winning a light mw title and being a contender at ww let alone being a p4p 1 at ww

 

The crazy thing is I think he skipped two of the lower weight classes 115 and 118
