you know what this reaks of.. barrera beating hamed, or tyson falling off the rails ... ITS AN ATTRIBUTE OF A FIGHTER to remain focused in camp... "IF HE HAD ONLY BEEN MORE FOCUSED" bull**** he is what he is.. thats like saying "if only amir khan had a granite chin he wouldn't have lost to garcia" no **** sherlock... but he does not ...

if anything mayweather deserves a ton of credit for taking this fight more serious then any other because he realizes THIS IS WHAT HE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR. the man trains like he is fighting for his next meal, THATS DEDICATION, THATS FOCUS, these are attributes of a fighter and ones mayweather possess's in bulk.. BUT lets just hate on him right ? *sigh*

may 2nd no excuses, boxing_master will be perm banned as per our ban bet and we can say hello to his 10 posts a day on a fresh new account, or maybe constable will see some action

wow, now you can tell people nervous systems by internet stalking them ?

what is Floyd feeling ? all nervous or playing it up even more ? the more people question Floyd and think pac is a legit threat the greater the win will look for Floyd.

if Floyd was telling everyone he is a C level fighter compared to me, the win will mean nothing. people questioning if Floyd will win means a much more defining win. obviously they both respect each other and are training accordingly but Floyd is still playing with the casuals, the more they say pac will beat him the better for Floyd.

Chopping woods, working hard as ever ? Nope. Juicing more as ever ? Yes. Working hard as ever is just an excuse so people will not get suspicious on May 2nd. We will see a much different Floyd, a much bigger, faster and stronger courtesy of Mr. Heredia.

no one, but they refuse to give the man credit for having such dedication, instead focusing on the negatives (even some that dont even concern his boxing career, like his charges for assaulting his ex gf)

If Manny doesn't take this fight seriously he had no chance of winning.

We all know why Floyd may be tense. I think why Manny is not stressing is 1) because he can lose and it's no big deal 2) he's getting paid a ton 3) (and this is the big one) the reason he thinks Cotto and ODLH were bigger challenges were because he actually thought there was a chance that either of them could knock him out. I don't think he respects Floyd's power and so, in Manny's thinking, if he just shows up as a non-stop punching machine, it'll be enough to win him the fight no matter what Floyd does.

i said that on my edit.... Floyd losing his zero would be bad for him. But pacquiao is just this little under dog train that has run for a long time.

It's like rocky 1. Rocky lost to apollo but nobody cared cause nobody expected him to even be there anyways. 10 years ago the only person who would say pac and floyd in the same sentence is pacdbest. Everynoe else would ahve laughed about it.

Again damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. Mayweather can train hard and prepare for his fight against pac and some see it as a problem. If he doesn't train, it would also be a problem. My question to most of you is, what do you want from Floyd? Is it money? Would you prefer that he leaves the sport of boxing because he may only have 1 or 2 fights left like he said? Do you want him to lose? Because boxing is an art. To hit and not be hit. Mayweather does that exceptionally well and most of you crucify him for it. I bet if he were a white fighter with those skills, the perception would be totally different. This fight here is a huge fight but honestly even if Pac wins, I still don't hold him as the best fighter. The award fighter of the decade is bull**** because Mayweather never lost yet. So how is Pacman fighter of the decade.

Anyway, I want to see a thrilling match up on May 2. Personally, I think mayweather will school him. Pac will have the early success meaning the crowd will enhance much of the action going on. Mayweather will come out cautious setting up traps that pac will fall through.

he is damn right happy with all the money he is making.:yep i think floyd is there for the taking. he doesnt throw enough punches to keep up with pacs output. he will have to be as fast as pac to have a chance against him.

I dont think anyone on this forum can deny that Floyd is a brillaint boxer and despite that he works even harder in the gym, that's the trait I respect most from Floyd. Whether or not he's TBE is debatable. The problem with Floyd is, he marketed himself as the "villain". The guy you just love to hate and truth be told he plays it very well. He's loud and arrogant but the man backs it up in the ring. I think what matters to him isn't whether or not you like him but that he's talked about and relevant. Whether you pay to see him win or lose, you're still paying. When you play the villain, you have to know that you're gonna get a lot of hate your way. Some people say the reason people want Floyd to lose is because he's black and I dont buy that. Floyd knows what image he conveys, the man is smart, he knows how to market himself, he could easily change his image if he wants to. You really can't expect people to gravitate to you when you act like a total *****, especially when you go around beating your ex in front of her children. I think the problem now is Floyd played his role too well thats why he's getting a lot of hate and not enough respect.

Mayweather feels he has something to prove. The BM describes it though, Pacquiao has already lost.

totally wrong. If Manny wins, it will be huge for his legacy and his Country will be ecstatic, he has a lot of national pride. If he wins, he also gets to be A side in a rematch.

sure 80mm is great but there is a lot more upside if he wins

the reason Floyd may be so serious is because he has so much to lose... Floyd has huge downside and limited upside whilst Manny has limited downside and huge upside.
