Floyd Mayweather jr (the most interesting matchup - one of the greatest defensive master vs one of the best offensive fighter ever. FMJ - MD or Pac KO)
Shane Mosley (toughest fight for MP at 147 and below, Shane have alot of speed and power as well as a great chin so he can take hits while dishing out his own. Shane takes this imo)
Miguel Cotto (his chin will be his downfall, Cotto got power but MP have a good beard. Each will trade some shots but MP power will finish Cotto because of his shaky chin and slow recovery which is horrible versus MP being a great finisher)
Andre Berto (Berto is fast and got good power but his defensive skill isn't complete. He is also too green atm, not sure how much he will improve down the road but atm MP by KO)
Paul Williams (actually Paul and Shane would probably be the toughest fight for MP, too tall and knows how to fight tall. PW high volume punches will probably lead him to a UD)
Timothy Bradley (don't know enough of this fighter to have a decent opinion)
Nate Campbell (both fighters like to go to war, but MP power and speed will get to the old man (even though he doesn't fight like one) before NC can do too much damage. MP by KO or UD)
Ali Funeka (good fighter but not solid enough to withstand the pressure from MP. MP TKO)
Juan Diaz (great technical boxer but lack the power to keep MP off him. MP will unload and trade with JD because there is no fear from seriously getting hurt from JD power)
JMM part III (at lower weight class JMM will always give MP a close fight. But moving up will change the favor greatly to MP who brought up with him his speed, power and accuracy as well as improving his arsenals. It is not just the straight left JMM has to worry about now which was what made countering easier before. MP TKO)
Edwin Valero (seen a few clips but don't know enough to comment on)
Joshua Clottey (don't recall much from his fights)
Pauli Malignaggi (can't deal with the pressure that MP brings which would be even worse than Hatton. Doesn't have the power to earn respect from MP. MP KO.
Zab Judah (quits after first. MP TKO)

Good analysis I agree except Valero. Pac destroys him, he doesn,t have experience against top boxers at all.

Valero v Pac would be a vicious war, more than any of the other fights and either one could get stopped within 5. Pac won't stand in front of Cotto. He'll move and box. Against Valero there is no choice except to fight. He'd be the most aggressive opponent. It's about styles but I should'nt have to even say that!
