you got a good point, but you can see greatness...

like a young mayweather, roy jones or bernard hopkins, they achieved **** all but you can tell they are great

thats my point.. you can see greatness......

and i think amir khan is on his way, its just the chin.......

but i think 140 will do him a big favor

Obviously there are many kinds of styles in boxing...ones that mesh and ones that don't mesh well with certain types. But when you compare different LEVEL's of fighters....ones that are either GREAT vs GOOD....GOOD vs GREEN or any combination you want to think of styles are really a non issue. Its when two equally qualified or proven fighters with contradicting styles meet is when styles will come in to play.

When....and that is the Key word "when" or even "if" Khan can prove himself as a legit good to great fighter by what he proves in the ring then ideas of him beating a great like PAC won't be met with such harsh ciritsim but you can't blame anyone for blowing the thought of Khan beating the likes of PAC off based on what he's shown us so far.

Again....Khan is not great, or ELITE at this point. Maybe in the future he'll be a force but right now. Nah man. He's still got a lot to learn, experience to gain and rounds to obtain before he can even think of facing a truly great fighter, whether his style works to his benifit or not.

yea i know, but fightings fighting....... they dont have a sparring match and fight, but when they have a real match start shagging do they, its just more full on..

manny had a couple of good chances, just didnt seize the moment..

im not going on the sparring any way, im going on what i think..

i just think khans a top fighter and he'll go n too prove my point, hes got a lot of potential..

in a couple of years after khans banged out victor ortiz, people wont be laughing khan will be up there in the p4p rankings, at his peak and we'll see what happens..

and im not even discrediting manny pac, i think hes a wikid fighter..

just i know styles, and i know amir khan would have a fat chance

OH....No doubt. Khan is a great talent with some real promise. Under roach I think he's promise and talent can be harnest and projected in his future performances. But as you know....there have been many "future stars" that just fell short or failed miserably due to mis management of thier careers or they just didn't have that "something" that the true greats had when they made it pro. I can definitley see why Khan was hyped when he came out of the olympics and into the pros. And he's an exciting kid. His chin is in question but I think that is pretty unfair based on that shot he too from Prescott was viscious and place perfectly on his chin. ANYONE can get slept with a shot like that. I'd like to see Khan redeem himself and come off the floor on a solid shot to prove his chin as Lewis did after his KO loss to Rahman.

TBH though it was a bit of a pisstake thread, im not that dumb to believe people would like this thread, i know the score..

i just like having a little laugh man.. but honestly.. if you had to put 3mill down on who would win, it would be a hard pick you never know what amir khans gonna turn up.. hes getting better all the time....

the problem with khan is his glass jaw. he may be very skilled, but once pac lands one of his power shots, the dude will go down. and pac will surely connect..

A shot Barrera had Khan's legs buckled a couple of times. Khan would be carried out on a stretcher. :-(
